Dragon Age: Origins – Ultimate Edition was more than just a game for me—it was my very first RPG, and it turned what was a completely new genre into an emotional, captivating, and deeply personal adventure. As someone who had never played a role-playing game before, I was amazed by the freedom of choice in every dialogue, decision, and path I took. But what truly drew me in was the depth of the story and characters. Each companion has their own backstory, motivations, and genuine reactions that evolve over time, making the party feel alive and real. Relationships grow, shift, break, or deepen—and every choice carries weight that resonates throughout the world. The narrative is rich and layered, pulling me into the politics, mythology, and conflicts of Ferelden. I found myself emotionally invested—not just because of the epic stakes, but because of the moral dilemmas, personal losses, fragile alliances, and rare moments of true humanity the game offers. Dragon Age: Origins introduced me to the narrative power of RPGs. With a vast and thoughtfully crafted world, a deep yet accessible gameplay system, and a story that genuinely felt like my own, it’s hard to imagine a better entry point into the genre.

A Way Out is a one-of-a-kind cooperative adventure, designed to be played strictly in two—either online or locally. It tells the gripping story of Leo and Vincent, two inmates bound by a shared goal: to escape prison and reclaim their freedom. The narrative is engaging, with well-written emotional moments and direction that echoes some of the best action-drama films. The visual style is polished and realistic, perfectly suited to the game’s cinematic tone, while the gameplay cleverly balances action, stealth, exploration, and interactive dialogue. The game’s true strength lies in its forced cooperation: every decision and puzzle is crafted for two players, making the experience genuinely shared and memorable. The only real downside? Its length. With a runtime of about 6–8 hours, A Way Out ends a bit too soon, leaving you wishing you could spend more time with its characters. But perhaps that’s part of its charm—short, intense, and perfectly paced.
