This long-awaited game has finally released, this game has not only achieved being a great sequel but was also able to stand on its own two feet.
This game does not hold your hand, combat feels way faster than the previous game so adapting to this new element is a welcoming challenge for veteran players of the first game. I highly recommend new players of Hollow Knight to play the first game before playing this game, not because there's a lot of hidden references or story content you will not understand, but because the game really is that challenging that you'll need experience to enjoy this. unironically view the first Hollow Knight game as the tutorial for Silksong.
Just like the first Hollow Knight game you will meet a lot of interesting and likable characters, with the added twist of Hornet being able to communicate and talk. Giving you a greater understanding of what the characters relationships are with Hornet.

Quite frankly, everything I wanted out of a sequel to the original Hollow Knight and more. This was an incredibly fun journey and I'm excited for what else Team Cherry has in store
