Star Ocean: The Last Hope, known as Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope is an action role-playing video game developed by tri-Ace and Square Enix who also published the game, initially only for the Xbox 360, and the fourth installment in the Star Ocean series. Famitsu revealed that the battle system featured four party members, and was more team-oriented. The game also features more of a sci-fi emphasis than past titles with the ability to control your own ship. This ship is quite large, and is able to land on at least 5 planets or other space-based destinations. Players are able to travel through the "star ocean," jumping across planets. The game takes place a few centuries before the original Star Ocean (around S.D. 10, or approximately 2087 AD). The game's plot revolves around Edge and his crew combating a mysterious threat called the "Grigori". An international version of the game was released by Square Enix as a worldwide PlayStation 3-exclusive on February 9, 2010. Officially known as Star Ocean: The Last Hope International, the game contains both Japanese and English voices as well as new content that is exclusive to the international version of the game.

What a game! Seriously I'll definitely be playing this again for all the achievements or maybe just to experience all the endings. Can see why Star Ocean has so many games, as the combat, music and characters are all top tier. Sarah became my favourite, as even though she can be a bit scatter brained, I honestly think she's adorable and brings good vibes to the crew. Anyway lets talk about how the main character goes from being a rookie, to becoming one of the best captains to ever fly in space, as he matures over this journey and learns so much about not only about the different planes in space... but more about himself. I can't say too much without spoiling it, but if you want an emotional journey with laughs, cat girl, buzz lightyear and some laughs this is the game for you.# P.S I wanna create a petition for flappy bird but with Sarah.

I can't speak poorly enough about this turd without ten paragraphs touching on some of what's so wrong. There's a mountain of dialog but 99.9% is filler, it's mostly text, it's all cringey, and the voice acting is like nails on chalkboard. There's a scene with a little kid wanting to sleep with the adult male lead, and another that is in love with the kid and is jealous. Seriously.

Not a bad game other then your main character spends a quarter of the game In a dark depression, where he is just blames everything on himself.
