NieR: Automata is an action RPG developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix. The game mixes hack-and-slash combat, bullet hell elements, and philosophical storytelling into a post-apocalyptic setting. It takes place in a desolate futuristic dystopia where humanity has fled to the moon after an extraterrestrial invasion, leaving behind an army of androids to fight the aliens' more primitive but prolific machines. (SOME MILD SPOILERS AHEAD) The story consists of 16 chapters divided into 3 acts. Anyone who knows anything about this game knows that the story is the reason why this game got its praise. I have never played the original Nier but I didn't feel like I was missing out or confused. So I think Automata is a good entry to the series. It's really fascinating to know that the game has 26 different endings. I think I managed to get about 6 or 7. The game really keeps you wondering about its next twist and tries to tackle some deep subjects which are ever more relevant with how advanced AIs are nowadays. For me I think the story was good enough to keep me from dropping the game because of the gameplay. The gameplay is pretty straightforward for an action RPG. You play in a 3rd person view and run around the landscape killing enemies and completing quests. There are plenty of interesting side quests and characters to meet. I loved doing as many side quests as possible in my first playthrough but it started to be a bit more tedious later on. The combat was okay, just not too engaging for me and some of the hacking sections were a bit frustrating. I'm really glad that the game isn't too hard though. That's a big win for the gameplay and probably the biggest reason I didn't drop the game. I was a bit torn on whether I liked the open world or not. On one hand I really like the post-apocalyptic setting but on the other hand the world feels kind of dead and sometimes mundane and limited. Some areas felt like they should have been exploreable but weren't. The open world didn't really feel too much like an open world and more like a semi-open world. But overall they did a great job at having some variety with forests, oceanic areas, amusement parks, etc. I can't talk about Nier Automata and not talk about and emphasize how good the OST is. It bangs. It's really good and it was used a lot during the game. Every section of the world had its own soundtrack and the music on some of the boss battles was really good. And fun fact: the lyrics are from a made-up language. I bet you didn't know that :D Overall, I can’t deny that I found the game overhyped. I won’t say I didn’t enjoy it, since I did put in a solid 35 hours, but it honestly didn’t leave as much of an impact on me as I thought it would. Also what is it with 2B getting all of the attention when 9S is more of the main character, she has absolutely no personality whatsoever until maybe the very end when you learn the truth about the 2B model. TL;DR: If you like JRPGs, deep stories, hack and slash games you'll like this one. I just have to warn you that the game takes its time at the start!

Introdução: Há muito tempo já me falam sobre esse game "Nier Automata". Vi que muita gente é realmente apaixonada por ele e fiquei curioso para entrar nessa história. Aqui está minha pequena opinião sobre minha experiência com o jogo. 🔴 Finalizei | Status do jogo : Joguei o game do início ao fim, fiz algumas secundárias e pelo que entendi, fiz apenas um final. O jogo possui várias opções de finais, porém fiz apenas uma. 👍Performance no PC: O jogo é de 2018, rodou super bem na minha máquina, qualidade tudo no alta com uma performance muito constante e interessante, sem queda quase nenhuma de frame, se teve eu nem percebi, não atrapalhou em nada a gameplay. Caso queira saber qual é a configuração da minha máquina (PC), está na descrição. 👍Gráficos: Ele tem aquela carinha de um jogo de PS3, pelo ano que ele foi lançado não tinha como fazer algo muito melhor que isso, eu gostei, achei bonito na GAMEPLAY, agora quando vai para a cutscene, a coisa fica feia demais. Mas tirando isso, o jogo é bem bonito e tem uma cara de anime, os personagens, inimigos, até o mapa. Eu fiquei com a sensação de estar jogando um game de um anime, a vibe foi bem gostosinha, muito lindinho. 👍História e Enredo: Eu simplesmente quase não entendi nada da história, como estava em inglês, eu não entendo muito bem, então escolhi só passar para frente e curti a gameplay. Sei que cometi um erro, pois muita gente me contou que a história do jogo é linda. O pouco que entendi e prestei atenção realmente estava legal, na hora que fiquei curioso para ver onde isso ia parar, o jogo acabou. Mas mesmo assim eu entendi alguns momentos, foi bem legal. Por exemplo: Quando meus inimigos, os robozinhos que matei quase o jogo inteiro, se renderam e viram meus amigos, eu consegui até entrar na vila deles e um até me ajudou no final do game, achei legal e fofo. 👍Mecânica de Gameplay e Jogabilidade: Esse é o ponto alto do game para mim, o combate é simplesmente incrível. Tem muitas variações de combos que podem ser executados. A 2B (personagem principal) está sempre equipada com dois tipos de armas, uma ARMA PESADA e uma ARMA LEVE. Isso é muito interessante, posso fazer um combo usando uma arma leve + uma arma pesada, fora o robozinho que me ajuda de longa distância atirando. Ah, já estava esquecendo, tem meu mano 9S que também me ajuda durante toda a batalha, posso fazer ele bater tanto de longe quanto de perto, ele me ajudou demais durante toda a jornada do game. O combate me lembra muito Devil May Cry, eu gostei muito, em vários momentos do jogo a câmera muda de posição e isso afeta diretamente na mecânica de gameplay. Por exemplo, quando a câmera fica de cima, (câmera isométrica), o jogo se torna muito parecido com um Vampire Survivor. Quando a câmera fica de lado (câmera sidescroll) se torna tipo um metroidvania. Ou seja, um combate muito dinâmico que consegue mudar e se adaptar muito bem com essa mecânica de troca de posicionamento de câmera. A ideia é genial e funciona muito bem, parece que estou jogando vários jogos dentro de um e a mudança é muito sutil e incrível ADOREI 👍Tempo de Gameplay e Replay: Eu finalizei o game com 15H30 minutos. Confesso que esperava mais, porém também não fiz todas as missões secundárias. Eu estava fazendo as missões principais e logo continuaria a farmar as outras missões, porém, do nada, eu finalizei. Tudo bem, foi legal enquanto durou. O fator replay existe, assim se você é o tipo de pessoa que gosta de fazer TODOS OS FINAIS de um jogo, esse game é para você. Ele possui mais de um FINAL, porém eu não sou muito disso. Sou aquele player que zerou o jogo uma vez, dificilmente eu volto para ele. Então, para mim o replay desse game não é muito legal, talvez para você seja incrível. 👍Som e Trilha Sonora: Como a trilha sonora desse jogo é muito bem feita, em vários momentos ela me conquistou. Tirando a gameplay o combate em si, outro ponto que me chamou atenção foi esse. Vale a pena e gostei demais. Muitas vezes eu me pegava pensando, olhando para o mapa e viajando no som. 👍Pontos Positivos: Alguns pontos me chamaram atenção, na verdade coisas que amei no game vamoslá. - Jogabilidade: Muito massa essa parada de mudar a mecânica de combate quando muda a posição da câmera, parece que estou jogando vários games dentro de um só, e tudo funciona muito bem. - Combate: Um jogo com vários tipos de armas que fazem uma variedade de combos que deixa a gameplay gostosinha, fora o favor de poder atacar de longa distância com o meu robozinho e meu parceiro 9S. Falando um pouco dele, consigo configurar se quero ele mais agressivo, ataque de perto ou de longe. Assim, um combate complexo e cheio de recurso, muito interessante. - Mudança de Câmera: Achei sensacional essa ideia, pô, do nada eu estou jogando um game de mundo aberto, explorando todo o mapa. Ai eu subo uma escada e o jogo vira um metroidvania incrível, quando eu pego uma armadura e o game vira um jogo de navezinha. INCRÍVEL, achei maravilhoso e gostei demais. - Trilha Sonora: Como eles acertaram nesse ponto, a trilha sonora do jogo te coloca em uma vibe completamente conectada com o jogo. Vários momentos eu achei que estava em um anime, pela parte gráfica e também pela trilha sonora. Muito bem feita. - Mapa: Achei o mapa bem grande, com bastante inimigos espalhados e com várias missões secundárias. ❌Pontos Negativos: Se for falar de algo negativo, talvez não ter PT-BR. Isso me tirou um pouco da história do jogo. Outro fator que achei meio ruim foi o jogo terminar do nada, eu realmente não esperava que isso fosse acontecer. ✅Conclusão: Um ótimo jogo realmente me impressionou, por mais que muita gente tenha se apaixonado pelo Nier Automata eu não estava esperando nada dele. Realmente é um jogo incrível, me deixou aquele gostinho de querer jogar o game novamente ou explorar os outros finais dele. Uma personagem principal muito legal, por mais que não tenha entendido muito a história, acredito que ela seja muito massa, pelo pouco que entendi. Assim, se você gosta de um Hack'Slash, vai amar esse jogo. Valeu muito a pena ter jogado, adorei a experiência com o game. ⭐ Momento Destaque: Vou deixar o último boss como um momento de destaque, porque marcou. Não pela dificuldade e nem porque foi legal, mas sim porque o jogo acabou ali e naõ esperava por isso. ☑️ Nota: 8
