Disco Elysium is wild , choices matter, but not always how you think. I save-scummed hard at first, then realized sometimes a “win” isn’t really a win. Cuno went from “please shut up” to “you’re alright, kid,” and a few side quests punched me right in the feelings. Brilliant chaos. Did I favorite it? Yes. Will I recommend it to people? Definitely.

I've heard really good things about Disco Elysium, so I was very excited about the title. As a detective with a unique skill system at our disposal, we have to investigate an entire neighborhood. In the process, we interrogate unforgettable characters, crack murder cases or take bribes. We can become a hero or a total human failure. Contrary to all expectations, I stopped playing the game because I just couldn't get to grips with it. Too much content that you have to somehow process and orientate yourself with, no clear red thread for the quest priority and a dice system... I was simply overwhelmed by all the input you get in the game, I felt totally helpless because I never knew what to do next and the dice system, which I unfortunately don't like at all (in general), put me off completely and I said goodbye to the game 🙈

What can I say about DE that hasn't already been said? It's everything people online say it is. It lives up to the hype. It's not a game for everyone, but I think everyone should still play it.

Хорошая РПГ, вот прям РПГ, с отыгрышем роли. Классная механика с голосами в голове, неплохой юмор, хороший текст. Но иногда этот текст прям совсем графоманский, арка с анодными рэйверами показалось мегадушной, было немного инклюзивности, но для игры на хайпе - продукт очень уникальный и интересный. Ещё арт-дизайн хорош, а на трибунале прям реально сердце колотилось от напряженности ситуации. Однозначно рекомендую.

Disco... Elysium. What a game. What a journey. By far the most hours I've put into ANY game on stream since I've started streaming. (And I've played Life is Strange 3 times now). So, why didn't I give it all five stars? What's on my mind? Let's go through that. Gameplay: There were some confusing moments where I wasn't sure where to go, some visual bugs, barriers that weren't clear for navigation, and some parts that were slower than I thought they should be. The interactions were fun and once I got the hang of it, gameplay speeded up. Definitely some room for dev improvement there, though. The decision mechanics are cool with dice and skill points, but it would've been nice to know what affected what with my gameplay decisions. Visuals: GORGEOUS hand-painted artwork. The world was interesting to look at and experience and I've never seen anything quite like it. Soundtrack: There's not a TON of music in-game, but there's enough to set the mood, and that's good. The reason why this rating is so high is mostly due to the VOICE ACTING that's available in the Final Cut edition. Truly immersive, incredible, memorable and worthy of stars. Highly recommend the edition with VA. Story: It was an interesting, strange and compelling story ALMOST the whole time. Except for the very end when the game was tying up loose ends. I wasn't a huge fan of how the decisions played out and of the ending itself.

Game is good, recommended for people who enjoy listening to long dialogues. Would've finished the game if it wasn't so focused on socio-political discussions, i just didn't like the topics
