The Forgotten City is a mystery adventure game of exploration and deduction, and a re-imagining of the critically acclaimed mod of the same name. Combat is an option, but violence will only get you so far. Only by questioning an intertwined community of colorful characters, cleverly exploiting the time loop, and making difficult moral choices can you hope to solve this epic mystery. Here, your decisions matter. The fate of the city is in your hands.

Мод на Скайрим, ставший полноценной игрой в своем антураже, временной эпохе и новыми персонажами. Мод для Ская - один из самых любимых, а полноценная игра - просто шикарна. Несколько концовок, антураж древнего Рима, мистика, загадки, расследование - 10/10! Один из главных твистов раскусила с первых минут игры (шортс на ютубе есть)

Made by a small team, this game is awesome! Again a full star review. Everything is just great: the story, voice acting, locations, dialogues,... everything works for me. A good selection of NPCs accompany the player through the story and give great side missions with a direct effect on the ending. Accidently finding one ending in the game was a little bit of a surprise, but due to the very well thought through save-system, it was easy to continue playing and find another ending. Well done, "Modern Storyteller"! Full Steam review: A wonderfully made story- and dialogue-heavy game with a very nice setting, good voice actors and great graphics. So many NPCs and so many tasks and stories to discover, and every choice you make has an effect on the outcome! The player will learn something about ancient mythology and about navigating a game without a map. The map of the game is not too big for it to be not manageable though. Much time and love was spent on details in this game, and the story is also NOT over until it really is over. The save-system is well thought through - wish that would be implemented in so many other games too (yes, some have it, some don't - still love it especially in this game!). A playthrough is not too long and replay value to get more achievements and seeing a different ending is high. I am lucky I had this game in my inventory!

Das Spiel ist wirklich gut gemacht. Ich fand die Geschichte richtig spannend und mochte es, wie man langsam immer mehr erfahren hat und dem Ziel dadurch näher kam. Es gab sowohl Erkundungen als auch Schlussfolgerungen, Schusseinlagen und Gruselmomente. Auch das Erspielen der vier Enden war super, wobei ich meine Probleme, hatte das vierte Ende zu erhalten 🙈 Aber ich würde es trotzdem jederzeit weiter empfehlen!

I was really impressed with how this game was made by only three people. I managed to unlock all four endings, and the first one really surprised me but you have to get all of the endings for the game to feel complete that's the whole point. The gameplay is quite unique, with a focus on dialogue and time-traveling, with a few combat elements sprinkled throughout. It's a relatively short game, taking around 9-10 hours to finish, but if you're a fan of Greek and Roman mythology/vibes and you don't mind a minimalistic but solid gameplay, then this game is definitely well worth checking out. They teased a sequel in the end so I hope we'll hear from them again soon.

J'aime les boucles temporelles le saviez vous ? Là on est servis ! C'est très bien construit, toujours cohérent, l'histoire est très prenante et les personnages ont tous une personnalité affichée. Le jeu connait ses limites et n'essaie pas de voler trop haut ce qui donne une expérience pas trop longue mais bien remplie où l'on est jamais vraiment perdu. Quel jeu !

The concept and story of this game is really clever. The game has a total of 4 endings, depending on the choices you make, which makes it highly re-playable. The keyboard controls are simple and straightforward, which I always appreciate. Graphically, it's a stunning game, but the speech animations are pretty rudimentary -- but if that's the only fault I can find with it, I'd say that's pretty darn good. Highly recommend.
