I really enjoyed this one. Gameplay that I haven't experienced before but quickly grew obsessed with. I think I beat it in about 3 days and spent so long just reading and vibing with this cyber-space universe full of people just trying to do what they can to survive. I really liked how time passed in the world, which gave things a little bit of stress that I think really fit the overall vibe and story they were going for. Based on your choices, there were some heartwarming moments and some really thought-provoking moments.

Citizen Sleeper is an indie game that combines deep storytelling and strategic gameplay mechanics perfectly.
Here is my full review of the game (in Finnish):

No geral, gostei do jogo.
Perfect if you enjoy too much reading. made the story 4/5 just because of the agenda.
Simplesmente IMPECΓVEL do comeΓ§o ao fim.

I almost gave up on this. At its core, it's a choose your own text adventure/visual novel set aboard a dying space station - you navigate the map, interacting with icons to progress subplots, using your dice to prioritise actions you take each cycle (day). Your dice number also determines the outcome for each action, so there is a simple but level of strategy involved with each turn.
There are survival mechanics in play - it's an integral part of the story in the beginning, and has to be managed throughout the game. I found it slightly tedious after a while, knowing that you have to take time out of your day to refill up on your energy and condition. However near the endgame you can essentially farm the resources for a while so you won't have to worry about it.
The soundtrack is beautiful. Stirring, tranquil, alone, helpless... all the feelings one would expect whilst on a dying space station, captured in audio. Certain tracks that play at pivotal moments or at the aftermath of events are just perfect.
But what makes this game special is the story and the writing. Life, identity, family, community, consciousness, corporatism overwhelming humanity - tricky topics when you're a human mind in a robot body. It's never rushed, never a drag - just consistently well-paced, even with the multiple branches and plots that intertwine. Every character is well written, never a stereotype or filler. There are multiple endings, but one of them really sticks out, and brought a tear to my eye.
The game is a slow burner - as I said at the start, there were times when I almost gave up. But stay with it to the end, and be rewarded with characters and a world wrapped up in beautiful writing and soundtrack.

I almost cried with my ending
A deeply human, introspective and beautiful story. Terrific writing that particularly shines in the narrative forms.
In the face of adversity, sometimes the best thing we can do is to only take the next step. Sometimes things work out opposite of our best intentions, but we must take it in stride.
The concept of home is beautifully crafted in Citizen Sleeper. My Sleeper was stubborn, naΓ―ve, and yet still full of compassion, all the while desperately trying to hold on to anything she can grasp.
This game was very close to my heart and most certainly joins the rank of Disco Elysium in my book.
Good stories
Good exploration experience
Nice characters and graphics
Good gameplay mechanics
Too many endings
Trying to be too serious
Dice RNG is the only thing you have
Great Game, a bit chaotic at times if you start all questlines at once. Recommend a focused playthrough (one questline at a time and explore different endings step by step too).

I already knew I was going to love this game, it's space vibe, having to manage your survival via a dice roll mechanic and best of all - the story, the cast of characters you get to meet ,the art style of it all = chef kiss.
I am looking forward to playing the second one.
