This game was amazing. Since the game first was announced I wanted it but couldn't get it due to money and I didn't have a Switch. Now I do own a Switch, and my mother gifted me the game. I love this game! It was everything I wanted. I love running around the islands and the open world aspect of the game. I love the Titan fights. My favorite one was the 3rd boss fight on Chaos Island. With Find Your Flame playing in the background it made it more epic. I also appreciate the change in gameplay. The Cyberspace levels offer that classic Sonic feel we're so used to. I wouldn't have minded just staying in the open world and never entering Cyberspace but it does offer a nice change of pace. I also very much appreciate all the callbacks to previous Sonic games. The story was cool, I was a little confused, but I thought this was one of the better Sonic stories. I also did NOT mind the serious tone. The only other serious Sonic game we've ever gotten was Sonic 06 and you could count Shadow 05 just based off the story. I thought the serious tone fit Sonic Frontiers and the voice direction I also loved. I liked hearing the voice cast try different things with their voices. The game looked great.... however, I played the Switch version which didn't look as good as it could've. I do regret not getting it on Steam. The gameplay in Cyberspace was a bit clunky. Very jarring change of pace from running around. I also didn't like the anti-climactic ending. Maybe the Final Horizons DLC has more but the main ending was weak. Going back to the positives, another thing I loved was the music and how as you progress though the islands the music got more intense. You can tell they really put their heart and soul into this game. I am very blessed to have played it. I can't wait to go back in and 100% and try the Final Horizons DLC. Also, this game was never meant to be a dedicated stream game. I always going to play this game for me. I only played it on stream a few times just to have something to play and I'm glad I did play it for me because I feel like if I didn't it would've ruined the experience a little.
