This game dropped and I spent 15 hours binge playing the hell out of my first playthrough. Given how the Silent Hill IP has been handled in the past, I was originally hesitant about getting this game, but it has totally exceeded my expectations. Pros: - Awesome graphics. - Hella spoopy atmosphere. - Smooth combat. - Puzzles that made me think without breaking my brain. - Maintains it's integrity to the original game while creating it's own environments and improvements. - It made me cry. Cons: - System optimization. The game is beautiful, but needing a NASA level setup to stream this game without frame drops is overkill. (Mild exaggeration, but the only ppl that I know that haven't had this issue really bad were the ones that played on PS5 w/ a capture card. ) I'm on my third playthrough of this, and will probably continue to achievement hunt until I 100% it. Especially if you're already a fan of Silent Hill, you've probably already played this. If you haven't played Silent Hill before and still like horror, I strongly suggest giving this one a try. Easily my 2024 GOTY. <3
