This review is being written 3 months after I played it cuz I forgot to do it lol
This was different from the Dark Pictures Anthology games and others due to story taking its inspiration and lore from another game (Dead by Daylight). It was also slightly more involved in terms of fighting back the "monster" this time around which was nice. The story is alright but you apparently get more out of it if you know Dead by Daylight lore. I looked it up and it was interesting, but it doesn't really add too much since the story is more focused and acts as a sort of prequel to DBD.
The characters are good for the most part, but when particular that I accidentally got killed was kind of a shithead so I didn't really care when it happened lol.
I enjoyed it and its more story-focused take, but that also leaves it feeling less exciting than the others since you don't have to worry about survival for a while.
Fun but short game. Great to play to kill some time in between doing other things and obviously better with another player. Only did one playthrough as of this review but there is clear replayability in the attempt to keep all the scientists alive. Will definitely come back to this to save them all at some point.
