Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a brand-new co-op experience from MachineGames, the award-winning studio that developed the critically acclaimed Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Set in 1980, 19 years after BJ Blazkowicz ignited the second American Revolution, Wolfenstein: Youngblood introduces the next Blazkowicz generation to the fight against the Nazis. Play as one of BJ’s twin daughters, Jess and Soph, as you search for your missing father in Nazi-occupied Paris.

Might be okay for multiplayer/coop, but I'd say skip it for solo. Spent about 2 hours working my way through the first 4-5 areas of the first main mission goal (Brother 1), and after I had went onto another area of it, quit the game for the session. Went back to continue next session, and I was back before I even entered the area (2 hours of so of complete waste). So yeah, no thanks. Horrible save system, and nothing spectacular to add to the previous games, as well as for some unknown reason removing hard saves. Skip it for solo, maybe worth a go for some coop play, but other than that, hot garbage.
Gunplay and visuals great. I really wanted to like this game but unfortunately the RPG elements do not work and need a complete re-balance to be viable. Bullet sponge enemies being artificial difficulty. The head bobbing is also nauseating, with no option to disable.
downgrade to the WOLFENSTEIN series imo, but it's okish

Wolfenstein: Young Blood is an enjoyable shooter experience, one however that is a shadow of its former self. The story starts promisingly enough but fails to bring any depth to either Jessie or Zofia Blazkowicz, which is a shame, as I believe they could have grown and become far more interesting than the paper thin, one note characters that they remained as throughout the campaign.
Combat is the saving grace of this game, a satisfying mix of fast paced, raw and visceral warfare that really impresses a majority of the time, the AI however, especially in the case of my dim witted sister companion did not. Thankfully the hardships were negligable, saved for the most part by the multiple lives allocated during play. The light RPG elements sprinkled throughout, made for an interesting and worthwhile choice, one that could be expanded upon if Wolfenstein 3 eventually comes to the fore.
Considering I only paid £3.99 for the experience, and it did more right then it did wrong, I would say Young Blood is a servicable entry into the series, I just hope the next game has a bit more scope and depth with its story.

Only finished it because of playing it Co-op and not with the dumbest AI in recent history. Also it's grindy even for people that are used to being a completionist.

Didn't finish it, because why would I?

This game has mostly mixed or negative reviews, and I understand why now. Not because it is a bad game, but because people expected a different game. Youngblood has a completely different gameplay loop - instead of walking through a story you do missions in a semi-open world with some story behind it. If you accept the rules, the game is pretty good and I got my portion of fun. The design is still great, gameplay is satisfying, characters are fun, so overall my score is 7.5/10.
There are a few things I consider bad - enemy auto-leveling, which completely destroys your sense of progression (this is a problem with a bunch of games from those years), the story is there but it is pretty simple and short, and as usual in the latest Wolfensteins - checkpoints suck. xD Everything else gave me the fun I expected.
I think the developers' mistake was changing the genre of the game. In the case of DOOM: The Dark Ages it works great, but here the change was too big and it ruined it for most fans of the series.
