While the first two parts of Sniper Ghost Warrior were fairly linear games, the third part is an open world shooter. If you look at the open world itself, it is quite rich and interesting in terms of landscapes and visual components. But is it interesting to explore this open world? On the one hand yes, but on the other hand no. As I wrote above, the open world is quite rich and juicy. The nature of Georgia itself is drawn quite well. Please note that the game takes place in Georgia and at the beginning of the game you are directly admiring that very natural fauna. And throughout the entire game I didn’t get tired of this beauty. Very good. On the other hand, exploring, a la "vacuuming", this open world is more boring even than in any other game from Ubisoft. Why from Ubisoft? Yes, because it’s clear that from the third part of Sniper Ghost Warrior they wanted to make a sandbox like, for example, Far Cry. The only thing missing is towers. I would call Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 a mixture of Sniper Elite and Far Cry. Outposts, collectibles, side quests and key points. All this goodness is here. By key points I mean unknown places that are indicated on the map with a sign (?), that is, not explored places. The funny thing is that these key points are not immediately shown on the map, but you need to look for them yourself until they appear on the radar. This means that if you want to complete the game 100%, then you will definitely need to travel around the entire open world to find those very key points. And in essence, the game forces you to explore the entire open world for 100% completion. As for collectibles, they are quite interesting here and the collected items can always be admired in the shelter. From the beginning of the playthrough, I did not expect a good plot from the game. The maximum is some simple story, that in general this is how it is. The entire plot is based on infiltrating outposts with the goal of killing/stealing/destroying. A very primitive and cheap approach. Side quests follow the same pattern. By the way, the arsenal of weapons has become much better. Compared to previous parts, the arsenal has become 5 times richer, which is very cool. There is something to choose from, something to shoot with. But the gun modifications are quite modest. In general, the game has become better than its predecessor, but I would like a big leap forward, and CI Games is only taking half a step forward. Each subsequent part of Sniper Ghost Warrior is only slightly better than its predecessor. In some moments, the developers have not moved even half a step forward. This is in cut scenes, and in the plot. As in the previous parts, the cut scenes are disgustingly made and, as I wrote above, a simple plot. I was surprised that Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is positioned as a AAA project. If you put this game with other AAA projects, then Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will be a loser. As an AAA project, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a pretty bad game. And if we take it as an AA project, then Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is quite a decent game with its advantages and disadvantages. It is also worth noting the technical component. She's at a bad level here. Poor optimization, long loading times and freezing. I think you will encounter one of these problems. For all its serious shortcomings, in my opinion, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, like its predecessors, is a passable game. Somewhere you can enjoy the game. Still, I recommend you give it a try.
