Ein im Grunde normales Point & Click Spiel, wo neben der guten deutschen Synchro auch die Grafik einem sehr positiv stimmt. Diese ist nämlich handgemacht, und das merkt man auch sehr deutlich. Der Hintergrund besteht aus Modelle, und die Figuren bewegen sich wie in einem Stop-Motion-Film ala "Nightmare before Christmas". Dadurch entwickelt das Game seine ganz eigene Wirkung. Die Story an sich hat seine Momente, aber ist halt typisch für das Genre recht übertrieben erzählt. Es fängt alles an, dass ein Quantentechniker in den 1960er einen Aufenthalt in einem langweiligen deutschen Dorf gewinnt. In der ersten Nacht werden ihm die Aufzeichnungen gestohlen. Mehr zu verraten wäre gemein. Natürlich beinhaltet das Game auch jede Menge in Sachen Charakter überzeichnete Figuren, aber das ist man in Point & Click gewohnt. Die Rätsel waren zu großen Teilen recht einfach, auch wenn ich mich das eine oder andere Mal da etwas schwer tat, weil ich die wichtigste Regel bei solchen Spielen ab und an vergessen habe: Schau dich richtig um, und sammle alles ein, was du einsammeln kannst. Ich mochte das Spiel schon sehr, weil es sich gut durchspielen konnte, und nebenbei auch der Hauptcharakter sympathisch wirkte. Wer Point & Click mag, der ist hier auf jedem Fall gut aufgehoben.

One of the weirdest puzzle games I have ever played. So i searched my Steam-library for something, that fits the criteria and found Trüberbrook. For the first few minutes, it seemed like having the functionality of games, like e.g. "Thimbleweed Park", except with different graphics. And that it was - a puzzle game with not so much fighting like action games, but many different very challenging puzzles. The story is simple, yet has components with a sci-fi touch - not necessarily everyone's first choice, but in this game it works. Sometimes, since i am quite a noob with this kinds of games, I got stuck with solving the puzzles and thinking about what was to do next, not getting any hint from the game. Thankfully some guides on the internet existed and helped to quickly solve the issues. That said, this game is recommendable, if you like some no-brain game for a while, which is completely different from what usual AAA-game topics are about. Good work, people from btf, for developing a game with not many technical issues. a little guidence for us noobs would still be appreciated. Is this game worth the list price? I am sorry to say it, but probably not. Since i probably got it as part of a package, the price of which has slipped my mind, it did not hurt mt that much. For that price, there are other games on the market, which are longer and have more possibilities to play. For puzzle fans, this is definitely recommended. I struggled to give the game a final grading, but only because of the idea, the flow and the lack of technical issues, I will give it a thumbs up.

An ok indie game. Stop-motion graphics which is pretty impressive! Story was good, nothing to write home about, but worth a playthrough.
