The game takes place in a single government building, in real time over four hours, the game advances without input from the player, but almost all in-game actions can affect the game's story. The game is set in late 1987 within the same universe as White Paper Games' first title Ether One. The game doesn't have a health bar or energy system, when the game needs to punish the player it does so by using up the player's time, for example if a player is caught doing something they shouldn't, they are taken to a security office and lose 15 minutes of game time, which shortens the time available to achieve the main aim of the game, obtaining knowledge.

A real-time stealth investigator where players role as a journalist is to uncover evidence by snooping around in the areas & finding everything that relates to the evidence. Make sure to stay out of guards while snooping around. If they caught you once, they'll simply warn you. Players are free to explore, but there's a time limit in several chapters, which this mechanic can be good but can be bad. It can be good because players must manage their time (players can set a timer or alarm on their watch) and choose which evidence/leads they want to find because 'Time is a precious resource to us all'. It can be bad because players are being chased by time that might miss some evidence/leads. I recommend to use guide. The interaction with things is something else, some are point-and-click, some require specific inputs. Reminder, players can rotate an object by pressing WASD (the game didn't indicate this in the UI). Sometimes, I get annoyed when trying to attempt a jump/climb. What annoys me the most is there are no checkpoints or save game progress. It only saves once after players finish one chapter. And sometimes it can be buggy, I discovered a bug where I suddenly can't move the camera/cursor & can't interact with anything, forcing me to restart from the beginning. The level design is good, you must use an ID card or turn the power off to not get caught while entering restricted areas (You can trespass through an alarmed door but you'll be warned by the guards).

Easy review, full stars! No copyright issues, great story, very good voice actors and a few glitches, which are not game breaking and a very high replay value (with the game length permitting it to be not too much of a grind). Although e.g. walking is sometimes awfully slow, it seems to be intended and adds additional challenge to things. Well done, White Paper Games! Full Steam review: Finally had the opportunity to play this game! A great investigative game, where we play as Harvey Miller, an author, who has no problem in revealing the truth of things in books. He takes on a big corporation and investigates an incident at this company. This game asks for multiple playthroughs, since in only one playthrough (without guide/cheating) one is not able to optimize the flow of things and investigate all. The game is mostly self-explanatory though, and with a little bit of brain_power, the mechanics are quite easy to learn and workflows can be optimized. Relatively bug-free, great story and characters, very good voice actors and the game idea itself, make this game strongly recommendable, when looking for a story-based game, set in the UK with a very interesting component of time pressure.

This is a stunning game! Beautiful and intriging! Unfortunatly I personally didnt understand the story. Political and words I have never heard of. I understood maybe the tail end of a gist. But if you understand political it is definitly a great game!
