Dying Light is a first-person, action survival horror game set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, players traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Most frightening are the predators which only appear after sundown. Players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning’s first light.

Dying Light é uma experiência única em jogos de zumbi, as mecânicas de parkour e combate conseguem se encontrar perfeitamente neste jogo. I played this with 3 other co-op players, and completed the game with The Following DLC. The game was good, but the repetitive nature of the same fights and same looting became tedious after 15 - 20 hours of gameplay. I slowly gave up most of my looting. The melee weapons seemed to become mostly useless compared to using most guns, but I tried to use them for most of the game. By the time we started The Following, getting the buggies to drive was a great break from the monotonous parkour in the base game. I didn't use most of the skills in the skill trees, but having them available was nice to choose from. The biggest disappointment was the QTE final boss fight of the main game. The final boss of The Following gave the option of two choices, one was to fight and the other was just a cutscene. I took the fight, which was a decent fight.

Dying Light (+The Following) ✅ Игра, которую я дважды начинал и дважды бросал. Может быть из-за отсутствия адекватного русского перевода. Английский - не проблема, но большое количество перевода утомляет. Может из-за не совсем удобного паркура - моменты когда ГГ не хочет цепляться за уступ сплошь и рядом. Во время игры даже проскочила мысль, что эта игра что-то вроде "хорошего воспоминания из детства", и поиграть в нее сейчас - это испортить то воспоминание. Но такие были игры середины 10-х с финальными боссами на QTE и бесконечными рандомными активностями на карте. Наверно в соло игре ощущение опасности побольше, но в коопе лично для меня некоторые миссии прошли на полу-отъебись. Вроде куда-то пришел, надо напрячься, а на двоих враги раскидываются за считанные секунды. Как ни странно, но DLC The Following понравилось больше - наверно из-за другой местности и уже прокаченного персонажа. Финал DLC тоже достойный, в разы лучше глупому карабканию по башне. И обе концовки крайне интересные. Так уж вышло, что вторую часть Dying Light я прошел раньше первой, и я надеялся на какие-то запоминающиеся моменты, но кроме бесячих братьев-близнецов ученых ничего не могу вспомнить. Даже смерти Рахима и Джейд не тронули меня. Это было по-своему оправдано. Я даже высоты не испугался ни разу в игре (да, у меня странная фобия, хз откуда появилась), в отличие от залезания на небоскреб в DL2. Ах да, озвучку же завезли. В целом озвучка хорошая, но бывало и получше. Есть откровенно плохо озвученное, есть отлично (матерь из DLC и ГГ). Но ругать бесплатное - себя не уважать. В целом получилось весело и интересно, стоило пройти ради озвучки и на контрасте с пресным Dead Island 2 получить удовольствие.

This game took way to long to get going. Found myself being bored far to often. I will say that the parkour was fun and once you unlock the grappling hook traveling around is a lot of fun. Everything else just didn't hit for me.

Oyunun üzerinden 10 yıl geçmesine rağmen hala daha en iyi, hikayeli zombi&hayatta kalma oyunu olabilir. Özellikle DLC'si ana oyundan bile daha iyi, fakat maalesef oyunun combat kısmı özellikle yüksek zorluklarda oynuyorsan işkenceye dönebiliyor.
