Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is the only multi-platform, first-person, modern shooter exclusively designed around the sniper experience. It takes the bulls-eye precision of its predecessor to new and exciting heights, offering more diverse sniper challenges; a rebuilt AI system and the thrilling βone shot, one killβ precision that made the original a huge hit, selling 3 million copies worldwide. Taking advantage of the advanced capabilities of the CryENGINE3, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 also delivers striking graphic environments.

"Arm in arm with a partner"
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 turned out to be a better game compared to the first part. There are improvements to the game and unfortunately there are no features from the previous part. If in the first part we had freedom of action, where we could come up with different tactics and strategies, then the second part is already a linear game. The game literally led me by the hand and told me what to do. Even if we needed to clear a certain area, they directly show us who and in what order to destroy the enemy. And the game basically turns into such a linear shooting gallery. We have a certain route, certain targets of which must be destroyed in a certain sequence. We ran the route, we saw the enemy, bang bang, and again we ran on. And this is essentially the case in every mission. Turning a sniper game into a linear shooting range, I think, is a mistake. But the game can still be fun.
The quality of the plot has improved slightly compared to its predecessor. But still just as simple.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is made on the CryEngine 3 engine and while playing through the game, at some points the picture was disgusting.
The arsenal of weapons in the second part, unfortunately, is even poorer. If in the first part of Sniper: Ghost Warrior we could at least pick up weapons from killed opponents, then in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 this option is not available. And in general, in the story mode we have one type of pistol and a couple of sniper rifles.
At the same time, in the linear shooting range there are no Rambo missions where they were present in the first part. Here you really spend most of the game in stealth, which is very nice. The game already lives up to its name.
The second part of Sniper: Ghost Warrior is also a fairly passable game and in principle can be recommended. It's just right for a couple of evenings.
