The game is a tactical shooter played from a first-person perspective. As the title suggests, a large portion of the game consists of stealth, staking out targets and firing sniper rifles. Bullet trajectories are subject to wind, gravity and flight time, all of which players must account for when taking shots. To simplify this procedure, easier difficulty settings contain indicators that highlight enemies and show precisely where a bullet will hit. The main weapons used in the game are silenced pistols, knives and various types of sniper rifles. In missions that are played with characters who are not snipers, the stealth aspect is dropped in favor of faster-paced "run and gun" scenarios. An exception to this are spotting missions, in which the primary objective consists of marking targets for a computer-controlled sniper character. Most of the game takes place in a dense jungle environment. Waypoint overlays at all times display the correct routes through the areas players must traverse. While these routes need not be followed exactly, the level design usually ensures an overall linear path due to obstacle placement and invisible walls. Many waypoints trigger scripted mission events, and some waypoints act as checkpoints, which automatically save the game. The single player campaign of Sniper: Ghost Warrior is made up of four separate acts, each of which deals with a different conflict. All acts are split up into various missions, which usually depict the same event from different points of view. For example, in one segment players may be participating in an infantry assault on an enemy camp, while the next segment has them assuming the role of a supporting sniper who backs up the assault. There is downloadable content available for the title that seamlessly continues the story line with three additional campaign missions.

"Sniper: Not So Much of a Ghost"
CI Games is famous for its trashy games. Not the best game developer, but rather a mediocre one. But every developer has their best games, and for CI Games this is the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series, which is a lesser known series of games from this developer.
As CI Games wrote above, it is a mediocre developer and, in my opinion, the first part of Sniper: Ghost Warrior is also a rather mediocre game, but still more or less playable.
Externally, the game is quite nice and well drawn with a simple plot and an interesting feature called Bullet Time. This is when, when hitting an enemy, the game camera suddenly switches to the fired bullet and shows the hit in slow motion. The local environment is also pleasing. And we will mainly move through the jungle and forests. The jungle and forests also look quite good, somewhere at the level of the first part of Crysis, and just like in Crysis, we have, in a sense, complete freedom of action and with this we can come up with different tactics and strategies. Otherwise, Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a pretty bad game.
The animation curves and lack of smoothness simply completely burned my eyes. The shooting, except for sniper rifles, is extremely disgusting, that is, the shooter component of the game itself is simply terrible. While playing through the game, it was clear that the developers were trying to add Hollywood to the game, a la Call of Duty. Moreover, this Hollywood is made so mediocrely that it only reaches the level of a parody of that very Hollywood. It's clear that Sniper: Ghost Warrior tried to compete with Call of Duty. In my opinion, this is the wrong decision and you just had to go, so to speak, your own path and come up with something original.
If you think logically, the name of the game Sniper: Ghost Warrior implies a game in the stealth genre, but in fact there are literally a couple of tasks where you need to move unnoticed from point A to point B. Otherwise, according to the tradition of ramming shooters, we run to the goal and We destroy everyone in our path.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a failed attempt at creating a Hollywood action game.
I don't recommend it!
