You, a regular human, find yourself trapped in the body of a Pokémon in a world inhabited by Pokémon. Without any other choice, you go on rescue missions through randomly generated dungeons with your newly-acquired partner and friend to save the world and get back to your human life.

Esse spin-off da série de jogos Pokémon é um ótimo exemplo de jogo fora da franquia principal que deu muito certo! Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red/Blue Rescue Team é o primeiro da "sub-franquia" Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Um bom jogo pra quem quer jogar pokémon porém fugindo do habitual com muitos aspectos diferentes. Sua gameplay por exemplo é bem diferente do se vê nos outros jogos, com o sistema de turnos estilo RPG não sendo o mesmo, ainda existe mas agora de forma mais dinâmica e direta e sua exploração é mais simples, sendo até intuitiva pois é fácil de entender o que tem que fazer, porém, não é tão atrativa visualmente, o que deixa muito repetitiva ao longo do tempo e um pouco entediante. E sobre pegar pokémons: não é igual aos jogos principais, aqui você tem que esperar pra eles quererem entrar na sua party que infelizmente só permite no máximo 3 integrantes contando com você. No quesito enredo, esse jogo é sensacional, proporcionando ótimos diálogos do começo ao fim, com uma historinha de fundo bem simples mas de fácil entendimento e até bem emocionante visto que os personagens são todos carismáticos e sabem criar sentimentos com o jogador. O desfecho é meio clichê porém não estraga em nada e conclui bem esse jogo. Visualmente o jogo é lindo, caprichado em muitos detalhes mesmo sendo em 2D com pixelart. A animação do jogo também é bem fluída, bem bonita também. A soundtrack é muito boa também, todas as musicas casam com cada momento, se encaixando perfeitamente. O único problema é a repetição, já que fica em loop várias e várias vezes e uma hora fica irritante de ouvir.

Gorgeous game with a humble and wholesome story that makes your heart grow a size bigger. The original is better. Fun dungeon crawler with cute critters and fun soundtrack. Bosses are bogus difficult so be warned. 🐶

Mystery Dungeon. There isn't enough hype behind this series. Red rescue team was the first i played back in 2005 on the Gameboy Advance and it opened up a world of new feelings and enjoyment for the Pokémon series for me. Being able to play as the pokemon and face the challenges of type disadvantage and situational adaption is just brilliant. Absolutely love it and alwys one to replay and have a different adventure with a new hero everytime!

Rating: 8/10 Time: 30 hours est Mastered on Stream: No The Good: Addicting gameplay loop, cool personality quiz to determine character, emotional ending, LOTS to do The Bad: Overwhelming end-game with a huge difficulty spike, gets brutally unfair at times This series gets slammed by critics and I'll never understand why.
