The Final Fantasy Legend series continues! In this classic RPG adventure, you are on a quest to reunite with your father. In order to find your father, you must travel far and wide to find the scattered fragments of a mystical force, known as Magi. Your quest takes you to several mysterious lands filled with caves, temples, enemy bases, ancient Japanese castles, and much more. Many of the worlds are filled with quirky inhabitants, such as the world of giants. Another world praises beauty but banishes ugliness. You can choose four heroes to accompany you in your journey. Choose from humans, robots, and even monsters. As the game progresses, you will encounter additional characters that may join your party.

Co-op with the developers behind the games you love and believe in
This is one of my top ten favorite games. The use of nodal story telling was an excellent way of adding depth to an 8bit game. It made each world feel like its own distinct place. The action-based progression for powering up your characters makes any team fun to customize, although I'm dubious of the programming behind it. As much as I love this game, I won't say it doesn't have rough spots. Sometimes getting a few points in one stat takes a long time. I'm convinced Male Mutants have some sort of error in their code, because they take massive amounts of time to get any stat bonus. Robots are fun to break the game with if you take the time to learn how they work. Monsters are tough to use until around halfway through the game. It's a shame this game wasn't given more development time, because there are a lot of ideas they could have refined to deliver a more dynamic experience. There's an excellent story alongside some great music, and I hope you give this one a chance.
