Disappointing story and characters. The decision to give Ryu only 4 chapters (1 of them being just a boss fight) is a joke. Yakumo is TOO edgy. Plays more like Metal Gear Rising than it does Ninja Gaiden. At least it's fun.

Walking sim. The mechanic of opening doors slowly to peer in serves no purpose when enemies are only present when the world freezes over, even then you have no reason to look into rooms when the combat only consists of running away. This game is just utterly pointless as a reboot for SH1. The gimmick of it analyzing you is interesting but why would you play it more than once when the gameplay is just so stupid? The soundtrack is also god awful.
