Set three years after the events of the first game, players once again take control of Isaac Clarke, an engineer who survived the Necromorph outbreak on the USG Ishimura. This time, Isaac awakens in a hospital on the Sprawl, a massive space station orbiting Saturn’s moon Titan, suffering from amnesia and hallucinations caused by exposure to the alien Marker. The Sprawl has fallen into chaos as the Marker’s influence unleashes another Necromorph outbreak. Armed with engineering tools repurposed as weapons, Isaac must fight through gruesome creatures while dealing with his deteriorating mental state and visions of his deceased girlfriend, Nicole. Along the way, he learns of a new Marker secretly built by EarthGov using his own subconscious knowledge, tying him further to the alien artifact. The game balances intense combat, puzzle-solving, and atmospheric horror, with zero-gravity sequences and cinematic set pieces. Unlike the silent protagonist role he had in the first game, Isaac now has a voice and personality, deepening the story’s emotional impact. Ultimately, Isaac confronts his guilt and the Marker’s control, destroying the artifact and putting an end—at least temporarily—to the outbreak on the Sprawl.

Replaying this game, I definitely felt I may have been too weak before to beat the final boss/area. Playing this after Remake has made me come to the conclusion that I really just love the first one of the series the best! Don't get me wrong. This game is great, but I can see where the awe is lost. Overall the furthered story and the ending are absolutely amazing!! Great additions to the Dead Space series and I can't wait to play the third (although I don't have high hopes from what I've heard before).

Dead space 2 7/8 GRAFICA:8 SONORO:7+ GIOCABILTA':8 LONGEVITA':7 TRAMA:7+ EMOZIONE:7/8 Il continuo delle avventure di Isaac sono interessanti ma non trasmettono al giocatore l'immedesimazione giusta,forse a causa della narrazione a volte imprecisa. La brevità comunque non stona particolarmente visto che sarebbe stato difficile mantenere alta la tensione per altre ore. +Ottime sparatorie +Divertente al punto giusto +Buona trama... -...ma raccontata male -Un po' ripetitivo -Personaggi poco approfonditi
