Definitely read content warnings before playing this game, but for a story so tragic it was so beautifully told and I really liked the message at the end. I did not understand what the game was about until the very end, because you are misled by metaphor and perspective until it all comes together. I was so invested that I did not get up out of my chair except for once in the entire almost 5 hours. The gameplay itself was not too challenging and the story took precedence, which I actually appreciated. I would definitely recommend this game to others.
I'll update this review when I have posted the playthrough to YouTube.

This game was terrifying.... but really beautiful both conceptually and visually. The humor is a mix of childish whimsy and dark humor, and was genuinely really funny. Even so, the serious aspects of the story were kept as such. Choices generally intimidate me in games - but I found myself asking what Little Misfortune would do and just picking that option. I loved her character. A little girl with a big personality learning that it's okay to take up space and be herself.... it just made my heart whole in that way.
Playthrough will be linked when posted.
