Really fun story but I genuinely felt the controls were somehow a downgrade from the first game. The amount of time I spent trying to navigate the climbing or jumping a completely different direction from what I was pointing was unbearable and almost a game breaker for me at multiple points. The story was stronger than the first game for sure but the gameplay was far worse which made no sense to me. Would've scored higher if better gameplay as even shooting enemies felt uninspiring and unneffective. A real shame but still saved by the story .

Fait sur pc.
SCORE: 4.5/5
Story:
The game takes place pretty much one year after the first. You're hired by your old friend Harry and your old flame Chloe to do a commission for a client. Break into a turkish museum and steal an artifact. What could go wrong? Well.
I think the story is an improvement to the first, which was already damn great!
The characters are well written and acted and the story has some nice twists!
Visuals:
Again, I played the remastered version of Uncharted 2, and I think it looked awesome, given the original came out in 2009!
Facial expressions and body movements were good.
Audio:
Voice acting was again top notch and audio felt well balanced and high quality.
And I love the Soundtrack for Uncharted!
Gameplay:
I can't speak for the originals, but the controls of Uncharted 2 Remastered are almost identical to those of Drake's Fortune, they only made really minor changes and added a stealth mode, which activates automatically when enemies haven't spotted you and you are in close range to them.
The aiming seemed to have changed slightly. They mostly give you ammo for the AK-47 which was almost impossible to hit anything with in this sequel. The FAL was my favorite, but hardly ever available sadly.
I loved the addition of stealthy aspects. They also focused a tad more on puzzles and climbing, but still packed the game with lots of action and shooting.
If not for the, in my opinion, awful decision to put Cover, Roll, and Letting Down On Edges all on ONE single button, I'd have given the gameplay a better rating. Dozens of enemies fire at you, you want to take cover so you press Circle, and Nate just rolls right infront of the bad guys, or starts to dangle from some ledge. I died so often because of this :D Maaan.
Enjoyment:
Overall I loved the game. I laughed a lot, even cried once of twice. The cursed circle button though.. I can't let it go. So it's one point less. Sorry guys.
Difficulty:
To me the game seemed less hard than the first one. No jetski horror this time, yay! BUT they add a BUNCH of overly tanky enemies that can walk off even multiple headshots, and others that basically need half an artillery to take down OR one shot of their own weapons.. but you have to figure that out first.
Remembering the first game, I dreaded the enboss fight. In this game, it seemed way more fair to me.
Audience:
I'd say teenagers are fine!
Grind:
Didn't feel grindy to me, but I think I missed 69% of ther treasures at LEAST.
Bugs:
None! All good and ran smooth :)
Replayability:
I'm pretty sure the ending is always the same, but same as before, the game has an abundance of trophies to unlock on multiple difficulties. Also, different skins. I can recommend Donut Drake, peak male athletic form right there.
How did YOU like Uncharted 2: Among Thieves?
I loved this game when I played it 10 years ago, and I love it still today! It takes everything the first game did, and improves on EVERYTHING! The only thing missing was Sully. Poor guy shows up in the beginning, and doesn't show up til the very end after that π€£. But it's a very minor thing, and doesn't take away from the perfection that is this game! It's my second favorite in the series for a reason (we'll get to #1 later, iykyk)
