To this date my favourite game of all time. It perfectly sets the tone for 'I am in deep shit'. Every turn is an experience and progressing through the game is horrifying yet rewarding. I have done everything there is to do in this game and yet I could pick it up tomorrow and I would still love every second. The tension throughout is high, its not just throwing enemies at you 24/7, it is doing what action horror games don't do these days which is leaving you to scare yourself. A sensational game with a brilliant story to keep you hooked hoping you can find a way off this planet. 10/10

Intitial thoughts loading the game up was "this is a remaster?". The graphics seemed to have a very minor upgrade from the initial game and there are a lot of empty spaces. However, the further I got into the game the more I realised how much I loved that. Gaming in recent years has taken a step back from its roots of actually feeling like a game but this stays true to its core. I played the campaign on hard straight away and finished it in one evening. I had an absolute blast chuckling along as I blew up multiple orcs with one explosive cannister. If you want to remember how enjoyable a single player campaign can be this is worth playing for sure. After finishing the campaign I fancied some Multiplayer but unfortunately nobody is playing it even a couple months after release. I imagine the 2nd game provides a better experience and most have gone back there. I did manage to find a couple of people for the co-op missions and they provided a bit of fun but the campaign was the great part for me.
