After playing through all of the Single player DLCs (the latest being Speedy Recovery), the verdict is, that they are definitely worth the money. They add a ton of new challenges and content to the game. Before starting Speedy Recovery, there was a 2 year gap in playing Two Poins Hospital - to be honest, the old rule applies: once learnt, never forgotten! Was quite easy to get the hang of this game again. Well done, devs!

Game Review: Two Point Hospital
⭐ 7/10
Okay… respect where respect is due — Two Point Hospital is a very well-made game. Smart, funny, polished, and ridiculously clever. But wow. By the time you get close to the end? It stops feeling like hospital management and starts feeling like you’re personally responsible for the entire healthcare system.
I genuinely enjoy playing it. The humor lands, the mechanics are solid, and there’s something super satisfying about building your hospital from the ground up. Watching things finally run smoothly after absolute disaster is peak dopamine. But as the game goes on, the difficulty curve ramps up hard. We’re talking constant emergencies, impossible objectives, and locations that demand perfection with zero room to breathe.
We’re only four hospitals away from the end, and honestly? I had to admit defeat. Not because the game is bad — far from it — but because it becomes exhausting. The kind of exhausting where your brain is fully cooked, your hands are tired, and you’re staring at the screen like, “I am doing my best and it is still not enough.”
That said, it’s exhausting in a good way. You can tell the game is carefully designed to challenge you, and for players who love pushing systems to their limit, this is probably heaven. For me? It reached the point where fun started fighting stress… and stress was winning. Still, Two Point Hospital absolutely deserves its praise. I’m already excited to try Two Point Campus and Two Point Museum — just… maybe after my brain recovers.
Overall: 7/10 — incredibly well made, genuinely fun, but brutally demanding toward the end.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to lie down. Preferably not in one of my own hospitals😵💫
