I SOBBED LIKE A BITCH WHEN I PLAYED THIS. (1)0/10 UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR HEART RIPPED FROM YOUR CHEST.
Backlog, still not finished
I just wished I had a tissue before finishing it
You play as two scientists working for a corporation that grants people on their deathbed a final wish: chance to recreate their memories and experience something they have dreamed of. The game's narrative is excellent, it hooks you from the begining and unlike most of the game narratives, it sticks the landing an has a very satisfying ending.
Gameplay is very basic: light puzzles, searching for key items to interact with or characters to talk to, it's more of a walking simulator than anything else, but it all serves the narrative well and in the short 5hr play time, it doesn't overstay its welcome or become repetitive.
Game also shows its age, walking feels bit clunky and some of the effects and game mechanics feel bit simplistic, but these are just minor blemishes in otherwise excellent experience. Fully reccomend this gameπ

Standout writing. :)
The other elements of this game are charming. Graphics look like this game was created using RPG Maker. Music is sweet to listen to. Sound design is minimal. Gameplay is easy to understand, but I wish I could use the keyboard to move my character around rather than clicking with a mouse. The story is very well done and the real point of this experience.
The tone of the main game revolving around Johnny is serious, emotional, and really tugs at the heartstrings. The scientists who work within Johnny offer insight and humor, bringing a greater sense of understanding and levity to balance out Johnny's serious tone. Two Minisodes are also included, both being short epilogue episodes at Christmas parties. Each offers more of that great writing, with Minisode 2 having the better story; Minisode 1 has the better gameplay, though.
If you're looking for a relatively short emotional ride with some nice humor, check this game out. :)
