The Fidelio Incident is a single-player, first-person thriller set off the coast of Iceland. Inspired by Beethoven's only opera Fidelio. After a violent plane crash, Stanley must search a desolate frozen island in search of his wife Leonore while covering up any traces of their identity. Rescue help is on the way, the past must remain hidden, "they can't find out who we are"!

This was a great walking sim with beautiful graphics. You collected journal pages and completed simple puzzles to progress in the game. The story line was based around a couples life story during The Troubles. This was definitely worth a play for the storyline for me.

A alucinação e a realidade são difíceis de distinguir. Somos apenas uma organização de substâncias químicas e impulsos elétricos no cérebro, dosadas na quantidade e temperatura suficientes para mantermos a sanidade. Podemos dedicar a vida a esquecermos quem somos, mas não é como se pudéssemos simplesmente deixar o passado para trás. Criamos camadas de gelo sobre lagos do passado que nos possibilitam a travessia para outras margens. Bastam uma rachadura, um passo errado e um piscar de olhos até nos debatermos por algo sólido. Quando chega a hipotermia e os olhos quebram uma crocante crosta de gelo a cada piscada, vemos sonhos, planos, felicidade, anotações, insetos, fumaça preta, fogo e ranger de dentes espalhados pela neve. O tremor passa e os nervos mais dormentes ardem em chamas a ponto de tirarmos a roupa. O que é real?
