replay (marathon); Learned the any% route (warp zones) to effectively clear it on stream and it payed off. Very satisfying to learn, though FULL of jank. Still had fun, better than Lost Levels

I don't really like how the game feels compared to most Mario games, it almost feels like I am on ice all of the time. The floaty jumping feels mostly good to me though. I also think for most part this is my least fav music in the series.

The fever dream of the Mario franchise—and I mean that literally. Gone were the goombas and fire flowers. In came turnips, potions, and a cast of bosses that felt like Saturday morning cartoon villains (looking at you, Mouser and Fryguy). This game had vibes. It might not have started as a real Mario game, but we didn’t care. We were out here throwing vegetables like our lives depended on it. And finally—we could pick our player! I was always torn between floaty Princess Peach and powerhouse Luigi with the moon-jump legs. No Bowser? No problem. This game slapped in its own weird, wonderful way.

Dopo l'iconico primo capitolo Nintendo prova a sperimentare introducendo un sacco di nuove meccaniche e modificandone altre. Il gioco in sè non è male ma è senza ombra di dubbio il Super Mario meno riuscito, con un level design caotico e lo stesso mini-boss ripetuto ad ogni livello, per non parlare del fatto che non si possa saltare sui nemici

J’ai toujours préféré Super Mario Bros. 2 au premier. Le gameplay était plus varié, avec des personnages différents et des niveaux plus innovants. C’était un peu plus décalé et surprenant, et ça m’a rendu l’expérience plus fun et intéressante.

One of the first games I beat. This is a lot of fun and not complicated. It's easy to find secrets if you're not afraid to do some logical guess work. I prefer this over most early Mario games.

Juegazo infravalorado de Mario y una mucha mejor secuela que The Lost Levels. A pesar de ser otro juego y estar modificado con cosas de Mario es mucho mejor que el Doki Doki Panic original, puedes elegir el personaje que quieras cuando acabas el nivel a diferencia del original en el que solo puedes jugar como un personaje. También las mecánicas de agarrar y tirar verduras y enemigos es muy buena y divertida.
