First time I'm playing a Text-Based-Adventure game & I gotta say it was amazing. Playing a Text-Based-Adventure game is like reading a novel, you read it, you imagine it. And Stories Untold really delivered a great experience. It features 4 stories/episodes with their own settings, gameplay, mechanics and they were wrapped in good.
I really loved its sound design (especially the keyboard), the 80s vibe and you might be realized the logo and the intro have a strong resemblance with one of Netflix Original Series, Stranger Things. In fact, it was made by Kyle Lambert.
Though this game has "Psychological Horror" tag, I did finish the stories in one sit yet it took 3.5 hours 'cause I had a bit problems with input commands & was a bit startle 'cause I barely playing horror/thriller games. In addition, I loved The Station Process' gameplay.
Another awesome typing based storytelling game that incorporates other mediums to tell the story. At the end you are left with a really important life message.

Atmospheric indie game that lets you learn the thrilling story of the main character in a special way. I wouldn't call this game horror, but there are small elements that are spooky. There are lots of flashing lights so if you are prone to epilepsy or get migraines from lights, I don't recommend this game. To others however, I highly recommend this game, its short and interesting.
A largely text-based game which is equal parts inscrutable and outright frustrating...while the story itself is revealed to be an interesting one, the delivery was not ideal for me, and the intentional, slow, forced nature of the 4th chapter REALLY should have warranted a trigger warning based on the content.
The game comes with an epileptic seizure warning, but the flashing lights in this game are not a side note, you are literally REQUIRED to stare into a flashing light for extended periods of time in the game, making it feel less like the developer realized "hey, this could hurt somone, I should put a warning in" and more like the developer said, "I wanna kill some poor fool, but I'll put the warning in so I can't get sued". Terrible, TERRIBLE idea, and the flashing lights were NOT needed to advance the story...I cannot stress this enough. I'm not prone to seizures or visual sensitivities, and even I was starting to feel sick after about 15 minutes.
Not a game I'll EVER want to play again, and if you are even remotely susceptible to flashing lights, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME.
Three short games with one overarching story. Incredibly unique and full of surprises!

While every standalone section like The House Abandon, was very engaging and interesting, the ending left me feeling a bit empty.

This game kept me guessing with the episode installments being very disjointed at the start. The ending was rather darker than I had expected but this was a nice horror/mystery type game with a few good jumpscares.
