V zásadě nekomplikovaná strategie, s jednoduchou správou a vývojem města, příjemně jednoduchým příběhem a vskutku pěkným soundtrackem. Ideální pro začátečníky v žánru, ideální pro pokročilejší hráče, kteří chtějí jednoduše u něčeho vypnout.

I had a great time building my mining town and progressing through the story. I wish the story was a lot longer though...it didn't take me long to beat it. I'll just work on beating the different maps in the game since I really enjoy the concept of the game.

We played this only for a few streams, its not very long but we decided to make one mega map to build everything the game had to offer on one playthrough. There are more things to build if you beat it and play again. Music was wonderful, if a bit low key on the topside map, but the Mines and Underground had great music. I'd have just liked to see more music all around. Story was very very simple, and easy to guess, but that is fine, it fit the universe its set in, and you can keep playing to unlock more stuff. Visuals were perfect for this kind of game, with the controls on console actually being very good for a sim, normally systems to place things are horrid without a mouse and keyboard but this was just easy to pick up and play. Overall I'm sad this game did not get more good reviews, it was a fun little builder/sim/Tower Defense game that should get more love. I think the short story combined with small amount of units/buildings hurt it a bit, but its the simple gameplay that makes it a joy for a casual night.

100% it, while the game only has 1 story line through all its maps. it does not stop it from being an absolute enjoyable city builder and dungeon sim? defender? i dont know quite how to explain it but. the game is so much fun and very chill and i love it to its core

I was really looking forward to this game and made sure that I had it installed and ready to play on day 1 through XBox Game Pass. Unfortunately, for someone that is as embedded in Anno 1800 and its depth as I am, this game felt like a kids version of that kind of builder. I love the SteamWorld universe and have played most of the games that Thunderful games have published in that universe. However, none of them have really grabbed me to the point where I would put more than 20 hours into any of them and this game was no different. The building portion starts with you choosing one of five maps which are all static and these maps are where you will build out your population, install your population based services and then gather resources and stand up factories to create goods that your population requires. Like Anno 1800, there are different levels of population that will get unlocked as your population grows. There are some nice little mechanics that are added to this formula to give you buffs and improvements to different areas of your map. Once you get your population to a certain size, the mining operations begin and they do help feed into your resource collecting and factories. However, it is a completely separate part of the game that requires its own population and mechanics. The primary reason for the mines is to find rocket parts that you can use to eventually leave the planet and that is where I lost all interest. Once I did the first level of the mine, I thought that it was interesting and provided some interesting exploration. However, then I got to the second level because there are only two rocket parts per level of the mine and you need six. The second level was exactly the same, but twice as large and therefore you spent most of the time exploring and breaking down rock walls over and over again. You also started to run into bugs which required you to have turrets and a special gunner population, but you never have any control over the protectors or the turrets, so you just kind of sit back and watch. It really is nothing more than a numbers game. You either have enough or you don't and then you get overrun. I did complete the second level of the mine, but once I was finished, I really had no interest in doing a third. I will probably not go back to the game, because there just isn't depth to it, no matter which part of the game you are talking about. If you have never played a game like Anno 1800 before and are not that big of a city builder fanatic, then this game might be great for you, but those that are deep into city builders and simulation games, there just isn't enough there in my opinion. RATING: 6/10

Great world builder game with two world per 1 basically since you have above ground and under ground to maintain. Also threw a little tower defense in there. Soundtrack is good, gameplay is solid and smooth. Not much of a story but it is there and nothing crazy stunning visually. However, I could not put the game down when I was playing it.
