Secrets of the Ark: A Broken Sword Game returns to its roots by reintroducing point-and-click-based mouse control next to keyboard control, although still relying on a full 3D engine with fixed camera perspectives. A few puzzles are still action-based, but you are now given more time to act in stressful situations, rather than having to make split-second decisions. Next to the regular puzzles, you need to investigate images, texts and clues in the central manuscript as the story progresses.

Joar. Ich fand das Spiel gar nicht mal so kacke wie ich vor gewarnt wurde 😂
Liegt aber aller Wahrscheinlichkeit daran, dass ich nicht sooo viele Bugs erwischt habe. Ich meine, natürlich musste ich an der ein oder anderen Stelle mal das Spiel neuladen, weil ich mich an eine Position begeben hab von der ich nicht mehr weg kam. Aber ich hatte tatsächlich nur ein einziges Mal (ausgerechnet im letzten Stream) ein riesen Problem, wegen eines feststeckenden Charakters.
Die Story fand ich mega, auch die Rätsel waren gut. (Holy F* hab ich mich mit dem Hacken abgequält!) Insgesamt waren die Rätsel einfach ultra nett, manchmal kam ich einfach nicht sofort drauf, aber tendenziell doch logisch aufgebaut.
2D hätte mir auch in diesem Spiel besser gefallen und hätte möglicherweise einige Bugs verhindert. Aber was erwarte ich auch schon groß von einem 18 Jahre alten Spiel! Es der Umstieg auf 3D und entsprechend gibts einige Probleme. Ich würde es dennoch vermutlich nochmal wieder spielen 🤣

Broken Sword 4 - The Angel of Death
Die Story war schlecht, die Charaktere unsympathisch (sogar George!) und die Rätsel leider auch nicht gut. Es gab zu viele Momente in denen ich nicht wusste was zu tun ist und Google um Rat fragte... T_T

Il quarto capitolo dei Broken Sword si rivela come sempre un'avventura molto intrigante. Una longevità di 10-11 ore per le peripezie di Stobbart e la Collard va benino però c'è la grossa pecca del mancato doppiaggio. Avventura comunque molto rigiocabile.
