هذي محاولة لتكرار نجاح الجزء الأول، لكن بدون فهم السبب الحقيقي اللي خلاه محبوب ، كنت متحمسة جدًا وتوقعت نظرة أعمق على الأحداث وكيف بدأت القصة لكن النتيجة كانت لعبة فقدت جوهرها

الجزء الأول تميز بأجوائه، موسيقاه المميزة، وتنوع القصص والمواقف وحتى اختياراتي كانت مؤثرة على الشخصيات الجانبية ، أما هنا فكل شي بسيط وسطحي، القصة تحاول تكون عميقة لكنها ما نجحت في نقل أي شعور أو توتر، والشخصيات والاختيارات شكلية بدون أي عمق أو تأثير ، خصوصًا بعد إضافة شريط يظهرلك نهايتك من البداية ويقتل اللعبة اكثر ولما انتهت ما كان عندي أي رغبة أعيدها عكس الجزء السابق ، التزلج تصميمه متقن رغم أن وجوده غريب وما يضيف شي فعلي، لكنه على الأقل مشى وقت اللعب، والموسيقى لازالت جميلة

Apesar de ser uma prequela, é um jogo que mudou bastante, e nem toda a mudança foi boa, a principal foi focar demasiado em fazer pistas de skate em vez de fazer seguimentos sérios da história, acabando por perder o feeling que o primeiro jogo dava. Tirando isso, os visuais, a história e a música sempre são maravilhosas nos jogos deste estúdio.

Der zweite Teil der Road 96-Reihe erzählt die Vorgeschichte, und du spielst hier zwei Charaktere. Zum einem Kaito, aber auch Zoe, mein liebster Charakter aus dem ersten Teil. Das Spiel ist ähnlich aufgebaut wie der erste Teil. Hier triffst du auch Entscheidungen, welche die Story beeinflussen können, und manchmal musst du etwas rumlaufen, um Sachen zu finden. Das natürlich in angenehmer First Person-Ansicht.

Es kommen hier aber auch Elemente dazu, die etwas anders sind. Zum Beispiel darfst du hier öfters mit dem Skateboard auf sehr kreativ gestaltenden Strecken fahren, und musst schauen, dass du diese unbeschadet überstehst. Das natürlich in Third Person-Ansicht. Es gibt noch mehr, was sich etwas vom ersten Teil unterscheidet oder sagen wir mal: Es ist etwas mehr auf Humor ausgelegt als der erste Teil.

Doch trotz dieser sehr witzigen und auch abgefahrenen Elementen schafft es das Spiel trotzdem mit seiner Story zu bewegen. Wie im ernsten Teil ist genau das die große Stärke. Es ist auch teils dramatisch, und was das Verrückte dabei ist: Diese ganzen unterschiedlichen Bausteine des Games harmonieren perfekt zueinander.

Ja, und für mich hat das Game den Zoe-Bonus, denn ich mag einfach alles an ihrem Charakter, und war sehr dankbar diesen endlich auch mal spielen zu dürfen.

Wie beim ersten Teil würde ich daher auch hier eine klare Empfehlung aussprechen.

Though I enjoyed this, I really, really wish it was longer. Fleshing out the backstory of Zoe, along with her friend from the past was beautiful, and it kept me longing for more. But more, I did not quite get. I do still need to try out other paths of the story. Looking forward to it!

Die Vorgeschichte zu Road 96. Es ist nicht schlecht. fand die Idee sehr nice dennoch hat es nicht so gefesselt wie sein Vorgänger. Manche Levels waren einfach Lückenfüller und nicht so geil.

A great "prequel" to the original game. Meet Zoe and Kaito on their adventures in White Sands, Petria. This game re-introduces many characters we know, but the mini-games and semi-free choice of locations to play in is different from "Road 96". I really like this game, nevertheless, one star off for heavily copyrighted music, hence content-creator unfriendliness on YT, another one off due to personal incompetence for rhythm-based games (not the game's fault per se, but a player-issue. But since it is IN the game, it has to be evaluated).

Let's go, Zoe! In this game, we discover much about the story of Zoe and what her life was like, before hitting the road. Kaito is also a very nicely made character with a great twist - in many ways the complete opposite of Zoe. Although this game is a prequel to the main game, it tells a separate story and has completely different decisions to be made. We meet many NPCs whom we already know from the main game. The confusing part is the skating, which is NOT part of the original game and puts a new challenge into the game playing. Luckily the game recognizes if it is too difficult for you and gives the player the possibility to skip those parts.

That we can play both characters in a later stage, is sometimes a little confusing though, especially since our decisions affect the other character often immediately. Nevertheless, a well made game with the original game's soundtrack-style, same kind of steering and it is good to be back in Petria!
