This was a great game. I loved the overall hub world and the different levels that represented each of the village's lords. They were all varied and were all fun to explore. It takes everything from RE7 and turns it into the RE4 version of that (in some ways literally). The story was intriguing and fun and the ending was also great imo. The DLC further enhances the story and has some of the scariest parts of the entire experience. I could see myself replaying this again because I had that much fun with it.

Unfortunatelly, like all Resident Evil tittles, Village got some shitty moment that prevents it from being perfect. Great game tho.
Hot tall vampire lady✅, hot villain who has been lonely for a decade✅, 3 thirsty twins✅, a ripped Chris Redfield✅. What else one could possibly want? This game is easily 11/10. Go play it now!
Now for those who want a more detailed review:
After playing the game for +50 hours, beating the main game 4 times on all difficulties, and playing the DLC twice, I can confidently say that this game is simply amazing. The story is a continuation of Resident Evil 7; you’re back in the shoes of Ethan Winters, this time in search of his daughter. I'd highly recommend you play RE7 first, because this game explains a lot from it and you’d be lost by the end without the backstory. Also, I’d recommend reading the files to fully understand what's going on. The game has a bit of everything. House Beneviento was my favourite part, it’s really scary, definitely scarier than anything from RE7. And just when you think it couldn’t get scarier, they managed to make it even more terrifying in Shadow of Rose DLC which is fantastic btw and has very emotional moments. Moving on to gameplay, it’s a lot of fun and requires some planning on higher difficulties. I feel it’s an improvement over RE7, especially the enemy design, the Lycans simply outdo the molded from RE7. The boss battles are good, especially the last two. They tried something new with the DLC and honestly, I’m all for it. If they can do it right, it could revolutionize the franchise. Graphically, the game looks amazing, running smoothly at 120 FPS on high settings @1440p. Finally, the mercenaries mode is a mixed bag imo, but it grew on me after playing for a few hours. After all, It's optional unless you're going for 100%. So if you don’t like it, skip it

Nach Teil 6 erfrischend anders. Finde das Setting einfach wundervoll. Der Ort passt zu Resi, lediglich der Anfang und das Ende hätte ein wenig Feinschliff vertragen können. Die Burg zu erkunden macht einfach Laune. Für mich hätte die Reise noch mehr in die Mystik gehen können. Tore zu unbekannten Welten, durch Rituale, Fanataiker oder einen Kult. Das wurde zum Ende zu simpel mit roher Gewalt gelöst. Get to the Chopper! Helikopter, Helikopter.
