My biggest issue is I was the game was more animated instead of story book like. Combat is pretty basic and personas were really confusing. To me it did not feel like it helped or did much at all fusing personas together. Good game, great story. Just could of used a little more love put into the story telling. I do love the fact I am cool with my son playing this one. He has been wanting to try 5 for years but themes are to heavy. This was way more child friendly. Still heavy themes but nothing like OG P5. Great game to try with how cheep it is now.

The first chapters are great fun learning the tactics and I'm happy with the story ending, but halfway through I was clearly harassed and the bosses were used all over the place😱

Really liked this one. My favorite Persona spin-off to date. Even if they do cover some mature topics, it's nice to relax to a more casual and fun title from time to time. The chibi style and kinda easy battles keep tension low. I read a couple complaints about difficulty level, I played on normal, I had a lot of fun since even though it wasn't challenging, I always enjoyed trying to finish levels as efficiently and in as few turns as possible. The game clearly wants you to be chain together one-mores and triple threats to take out stages in one go, with the way certain quests are designed. I think it makes sense to have accommodations for players coming in from P5 who may not have much experience with the tactics genre, and I still have fun clearing a 7 turn stage in 2. The big brain moves did make sub-personas and certain skills less important, but that didn't stop me from still spending hours fusing personas and re-speccing the skill tree every once in a while. And we really enjoyed the story, it was nice going through Erina and Toshiro's story.

Great gameplay and twist on a classic strategy system. The story is incredibly predictable so far though and really isn't interesting to read. I'm not looking forward to seeing what happens next, just playing the stages. The theme song is also very average.

Well not actually quite 100%, I will eventually finish up persona entries in new game +, but got basically everything else done on the initial playthrough.
The story started kinda slow and around mission 20 I started getting invested in the story. Would recommend the game to P5 fans.
