Marvel Cosmic Invasion
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a side-scrolling beat 'em up featuring 15 playable Marvel heroes. Designed in the style of classic '90s arcade brawlers, the game allows players to switch between two characters mid-battle using the Cosmic Swap mechanic. Each hero brings unique abilities and team-up attacks, with additional upgrades and rewards becoming available as players progress.

That was pretty fun! I've been slowly getting back to my superhero face and licensed beat em ups are always an interesting time! Really not a fan of the Knull bossfight

Que obra prima. Eu diria que o unico problema desse jogo é o preço absurdo que ele custa. O resto, é extremamente refinado. Seu gameplay segue a proposta com beat up a linha com elementos de jogar com multiplos personagens. O que faz que você possa levar 2 personagens para ter variação no proprio gameplay. Cada personagens é bem unico e de dentro do universo da marvel. Aqui você troca entre personagens, tem boss fight, ataca, tem combos, especial , super especial e ataques diferentes dependendo do personagem que escolher. Ele até mesmo para o beat up é bem cheio de opções. O meu unico problema aqui é que no final a luta fosse mais epica, e ao s meus olhos ela foi bem fraca, comparada com todas as lutas que temos que fazer para chegar até ali. Sua soundtrack e efeitos sonoros são maravilhosos e perfeitos. Você sente a alma do local e dos acontecimentos, e podemos dizer o mesmo do visual que tem MUITO identidade. Sua historia por mais que acredito que muita gente vai ignorar, é realmente parece ter saido de um quadrinho e bem legal de se acomapnhar. Em resumo é um jogo feito para fãs que eu RECOMENDO, mas espere uma promoção para ficar com um preço mais acessivel.

Gameplay
While this game plays like a traditional 2d sidescroller beat 'em up, it adds some nuances to really shake up the gameplay! No hero to my knowledge, plays the same and each player has a Marvel character they can tag in/swap as whenever they want, so long as their 2nd character isn't KO'd/dead. The combat feels like a light version of a fighting game, notably the Marvel v Capcom games! It's very combo focused and your tag-in's increase your combo as well as provide a great out in case your character gets CC'd.
Story
The story isn't the strongest in this game and has your team going around trying to stop Annihilus and his swarm from doing harm to the universe and taking control of notable characters from the Marvel universe. AIM and MODOK are involved as well, with Galactus and Knull even making an appearance and getting involved! This game shine's with its gameplay, that's for sure!
Visuals
This game uses a pixel art approach to it's visuals, very much like the way the older Marvel v Capcom games kinda looked like! Character designs are really great and can easily identify who is who! The game has colors that really pop and bring to life the enviroments, characters and each character's alt outfits!
OST
I didn't really note this game's OST much in my playthrough. Will have to give that OST a seperate listen to get a better feel for it and be more concise with my thoughts for this game's OST!
If you're a fan of old school beat 'em ups and or the Marvel v Capcom games, this game is for you! I hope they add more heroes and villains, as well as maps to this game to extend it's shelf life! This game has great co-op for both local and online co-op that is also cross network! They did a great job overall with this game!

This was a solid beat em up. It successfully brings back the feeling of arcade nostalgia while introducing bringing in modern mechanics and newer heroes. With that said, it doesn't do enough to stand out amongst the better games in the genre from recent times. 8/10
