The seas call for me everyday and it makes me hate the economy for keeping me from finding One Piece

queria ter amnesia para jogar pela primeira vez novamente
Great game, shorter than a main RGG release but longer than Gaiden for example, absolutely recomended

Pirate Yakuza has a lot of great things going for it, for one, this is some of the most fun action combat I've experienced in the series, it's so fun. Majima is my favourite Yakuza character and I'm really happy he has his own game dedicated to him - but I'll be honest, this story did hardly anything for me. I felt it was fairly barebones, especially in comparison to the rest of the franchise, even other spin-offs like Gaiden (which I felt had one of the better stories).
The boat combat was also something I really really did not like, it was neat at first but by the end I was completely over how repetitive it was. The soundtrack is a masterpiece like always! Despite some negativity, overall I really did enjoy Yakuza, because even the worst Yakuza is still going to be at least an above average video game, that's no different here. It's my first ever Yakuza I've 100%'d and defeated an Amon, so I'm really happy with that.
Sadly, it's also a very miss-able one that I really don't think like is a vital plot game to the overall Yakuza story. You can safely skip this if you're just playing Yakuza games for the full picture story, at least for now? That might change if the characters from it return and become integrated with the story of future games, but I would be really surprised if this is the case.
Although technically sound, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has one of the weakest stories in the franchise which in turn renders fan favourite Goro Majima as a blank slate for the sole purpose of a non-sensical pirate adventure.
As a long term fan of the series, I had my fun with it, but I hope the next offering from RGG has significantly more bite (something which is hinted at in the after credits scene).

Biggest issue I had : Naval combat on Professional difficulty is insanely more difficult compared to normal difficult. Like a drastic difference, meanwhile normal combat on professional was totally managable. Now that that's out of the way : Like a Pirate was a fever dream of an adventure! Truly T H E Majima game. The cast is great, the story is solid (for what it is), there could be a little more to the mini games but besides that I havent had this much fun in a hot minute
This is peak game for the majima fans.
Just play the yakuza games you won't be disappointed.
This game is AMAZING!
For a side game in the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise, RGG did a fantastic job implementing a pirate motif while keeping with the usual stuff I've seen in the games (mahjong, shogi, poker, etc).
I ABSOLUTELY recommend this game to my friends and anyone else that is interested in getting into all the LAD games. It may not be a main game, but it's still rich in story and beautiful in design.

To me, the game is a candidate for game of the year 2025! Combat might got a bit easy fast - but it still was on a level were it was potentially challenging.
I had such a good time with the game, and tears in my eyes in the after credit scene. The game is awesome and I am a huge fan of the same!

Platineado, sin ser la mejor historia del mundo, es un juego entretenido como pocos, un spin off de Ryuga Gotoku espectacular
