Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
Birth by Sleep is an action roleplaying game that introduces a gameplay aspect called the Command System, which allows players to customize a Command Deck with techniques and abilities that they can perform at will, called Deck Commands. Performing ordinary attacks and Commands fills a gauge displayed above the command deck that, when certain requirements are fulfilled, activates a Command Style that changes the player's basic attack command with the "Surge" command, which racks up powerful combos depending on what Command Style is activated. Filling the gauge with certain requirements a second time causes the character to change into an even higher level Command Style, which replaces the "Surge" command with the more powerful "Storm" command.

Once again I had to buy another console just to play the next installment which was very frustrating this would be the first time that they did it but it was annoying I really enjoyed the story to this one it was very heartfelt and that means you realize that darkness was not always evil that there had to be a balance between the two and the characters that we got to meet where amazing Aqua Terra and Ven I still didn't like the fact that they made ven look like sora and roxas but once you unravel the stories more throughout the other games it made entire sentence but in the beginning my younger self was so confused highly recommend getting your hands on this game HD remaster or this version and care for was the command deck for this one was a little bit weird to me in the beginning by once I got the hang of it it was fine and I do think the combat system was a bit too floaty but those are the only problems I had

played this on ps3 still a great game i loved playing it i just never got the true ending im not fond of collection quest to require the true ending i would rather do sidequests of lore that lead up to that point

Love this game - from the combat to the cinematics. It was truly a wonder. I also have final mix which I've yet to play so that may be coming to a stream near you in the future. 😉

Played it on PS4. This game added the forms to the game that changed their move sets, which was refreshing. I thought that the game was going to be repetitive, but it was not at all. Play Terra last is a recommendation!

One of the weaker Kingdom Hearts games, only held up by its fun combat.
