Action

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days revolves around Roxas, the "other" hero from Kingdom Hearts II. Players follow Roxas through his days among Organization XIII's ranks, unraveling the events that took place during the year that Sora was asleep, and ultimately revealing one of the Kingdom Hearts saga's most shocking secrets. Players and their friends will join Roxas, his friend Axel and the mysterious fourteenth member of Organization XIII on a journey across charming, vibrant worlds full of Square Enix's and Disney's beloved characters.

I didn't actually play this as I only experienced the film version included with the 2.5 collection. From what I recall of the story, I enjoyed it and thought Xion was awesome.

I am crying,,, This game is so good, I love the story and the way it develops the characters so well. It's not perfect of course, I said many times on stream but this game definitely suffers by being stuck on the DS and would really benefit from a full remake. The HD cutscenes are nice, but do not do the game enough justice in my opinion. So for anyone on the fence about whether or not they want to play this game or just watch the movie, I highly highly recommend playing the game. Also, play KH2 first. It hits so much harder when you know the story of KH2! I love the seasalt trio so much and this game is just beautiful ;~; Hoping I can play Birth By Sleep soon!

I dusted off my old Nintendo DSi for this game. It took some time for me to really catch up with all Kingdom Hearts games, considering the 358/2 Days version on the collection in PS4 is just purely cutscenes. Playing this game on a little screen was a tad funny though, but the story captured me so much. I love the trio here so much.

*NOT STREAMED* Probably my favorite Kingdom Hearts story, but my second least favorite KH game to play (the first is Re:Coded, I will never finish that one) The gameplay is fine, it's mission based, thus it's repetitive, but, hey, this was made for a handheld. The music is just rehashed, worse versions of songs you've heard before. The visuals are standard DS fare. But, that story, that's where it really shines. This is one of the most tragic games I've ever played and I'm here for it.

Playing as a heartless and building the character up was so much fun and it was truly a beautiful story on its own. It all connects but was just happy to play it on the DS.

This game really tugged at my heartstrings it was a really good game until to a character that was not sora and we got more back story on Roxas and it was interesting where he came from and how he interacted with the other organization 13 members the I say it was all mission be an it kind got a little bit boring and repetitive to get to the next story piece other than that the game was phenomenal it made me cry it me me smile and it gave you a little bit of insight to how a nobody works and I like that a lot and we got to know more about one of the characters that we only got to see one time in the second game highly recommend
