Corpse party magical girls was an interesting spin on the series! Can't say the story was fantastic, but enjoyed the 3D environment exploration (although frustrating chase scenes)! Overall It's Corpse Party- what do you expect really. 🤭

Corpse Party: Blood Drive honestly felt a little mediocre as an ending to the trilogy. It wasn't bad, just ok, though some things felt a little stupid and some things could have been explained better. Ayumi feels pretty insufferable for most of the game, so having her as the main protagonist also irked me a bit. The gameplay is classic Corpse Party style, with the addition of a few enemies to avoid or banish (if you have the right item) thrown in the mix. Basically a puzzle in rpg form. Visually, the art and the environments look pretty good imo. Some people complain about the chibis, but I wasn't really bothered by them. Sure they're not the best for horror vibes, but I think they work well enough. I loved the music. They nailed the sound side of things, though everything was too loud - I had to turn it down a TON. One piece was particularly annoying, but I still appreciate it because it fit. The PC port itself is pretty bad, I had a bad time setting up my controller. Also idk if the final boss prompts got messed up because of that, it seemed sorta broken. Overall, it was neither good nor bad, honestly a bit mid. It was acceptable I guess, but I wish it explained some things more, expanded on some story points/characters more, and had less slice of life.

Pro: - Back to adventure style gameplay like the original game - Music has been imrpoved from previous game Con: - Uninspired and inaccurate Chibi 3D model and bad texture makes the game look goofy and not scary. - Death scenes feel much less scary than previous games.
