This game is a bad game based on a bad movie. There is not much to enjoy here besides the music and visuals sometimes. The game-play is a mix of point and click and platforming. This is all executed very poorly. Avoid this game.

Shining Wisdom is a Zelda-like top down action adventure rpg for the Sega Saturn and is a pretty fun little game in the Shining Universe. This game has a good story, amazing soundtrack, nice 2d graphics with 3d pre-rendered sprites. Unfortunately this game is held back by a poorly thought out magic system and a weird running/magic mechanic. I really wanted to like this game more than I did but where a game like Zelda would have safeguards in place for monotonous puzzles and frustrating platforming. this game just doesn't have that. It does however have a driveable car item and a monkey power-up so extra half a star for that alone. I'd say if you like 2d Zelda games then you may like this game just don't expect the same amount of polish.
