most underrated PS1 title

One of the all time best Tactical RPG's of all time, most other tactical games are just trying to capture what this game did best.

The story while a bit dark is well told over several years and stand points and has focus on both a magical plot and a political plot. A huge cast of characters each with their own background make the world of Ivalice come to life unlike any other Tactical RPG before or after it.

The turn and grid based combat is easy to understand but hard to master. A massive collection of classes that can be unlocked, and mixed and match lead to almost unlimited replayability.

Music and sound is amazing with only a few sound effects and battle music's being out of place.

The game can be beat well under what I did it in, but if you want to do everything and get the classes it can be upwards of 60+ hours.

Overall just one of my favorite games of all time and goes hand in hand with the Front Mission series for how to do Tactical RPGS right.

This is my favorite Final Fantasy game. Now most of us tactics fans know this isn't actually a Final Fantasy game its an ogre tactics sequel with a FF skin. The customization of units, the story, the music, the combat all perfect. Any of these elements alone are 5 stars all together makes an amazing game everyone who likes tactical RPGs must play.

Timeless game. The best of the best in the tactical world.
