Uma obra prima dos jogos retrô, cresci como gamer jogando esse game e começando a amar o gênero de plataforma por causa de Super Mario World, sua gameplay é excelente e quase que sem falhas técnicas nela, ao não ser por quem explorar glitches, é claro. Por mais que a história seja clichê, salvar a princesa foi uma trama padrão pra jogos nos anos 90, e acredito que nisso esse game faz a condução de forma simples e concisa. Os visuais do Super Nintendo entregaram bastante pros gráficos em Super Mario World, mesmo que a CPU do console seja limitada, mas eu gostei mesmo do estilo de arte de Super Mario World por ser gráficamente simples visualmente.

A mais decente jogatina que tive em anos, e não pensem errado, tanto o game original e quanto o port pro Super Mario All-Stars são excelentes, no quesito gameplay, falando dos visuais do game original, para época são espetacularmente bonitos, e claro que pra época foi genial, mesmo que com a tecnologia do Famicom ou NES ainda não permitindo planos de fundo, são pixelizadamente bem feitos.

Gameplay decente com algumas ressalvas pela falta de um conteúdo de história, como acontece em alguns outros jogos no mesmo gênero. Mas no mais às 32 pistas incluídas nesse game divertiu os jogadores tanto nos modos single-player e no modo multi-player, sobre os visuais que oferece, a tecnologia do próprio DS não entrega gráficamente bem nos visuais, mas eu acredito que esse game no estilo de arte, está bem encaixado.
