There is no mini golf course near me ... Walkabout is so good I may never actually go play mini golf in public again. I can play with friends, we can screw around, we can take our time, there's free beverages, and best of all ... we can do all the things including smacking the ball as hard as we want without risking putting someone's eye out! xD

This one's weird to rate, because while I super enjoy minigolf, there's no real marketing hook to this game. This is just minigolf in a way which removes as many constraints as possible to accessing minigolf. The physics feel like minigolf, from the feedback when hitting the ball to how the ball acts on the green. It feels correct, which is technically impressive as it is hidden. I've tried other VR minigolf which feel like it's a replication because some little thing is off. Nothing is off here, controls exactly how you'd want it, with generous golf club height adjustment so it's always at ground level. Locomotion is flawless. You can just walk around the ball when you're lining up a shot, and then either teleport to the next shot or teleport wherever you want. So levels are designed a bit more fun, with some ramps or mouse trap like contraptions sprinkled in the different atmospheres and regular looking levels. If you do well, or do some exploring in a map, you can unlock hard variants. There's DLC packs but the 8 base and 8 hard levels are more than enough. It's an ages 8-80 game, as in at a family gathering I had an 80 year old relative and several otherwise try it successfully. Real life golf skill translated almost immediately once they got the hang of nerves from the levels feeling less "safe" compared to real life locations. While other VR games like Beat Saber make addicts, this game teleports a fun solo or social activity to the comfort of the living room uncompromised.

Great mini golf game with amazing courses. This game is constantly being improved, with new DLC courses being added, and is a blast in multiplayer.
