The Thaumaturge is a story-driven RPG with morally ambiguous choices, taking place in the culturally diverse world of early 20th century Warsaw. In this world, Salutors exist: esoteric beings that only Thaumaturges can truly perceive and use for their needs.

When I started to play this game I didn't expect much. But while I was playing I got really excited. This game is made with so much love to players, and also to Poland. I found out that it is made by the studio which created Frostpunk and was really surprised that I didn't hear much about this game. Story and the dialogues are one of the best I've seen in games - you really can compare it to Witcher. Roleplay is also here - you have different ways and choices in dialogues which actually matter and change the ending of the game drastically. The battle system also felt very good mostly because of the freedom it gives to you - you can fight in really many different builds and have some cool combos. So if you like good story, dialogues and decent gameplay - you definitely have to try this one out.
