I might be a bit too harsh since I am comparing this to Battle Brothers. I hoped this would nail the same thing BB had but with added narrative. It wasn't really happening. Gear was boring, trading was unnecessary and somehow the same kind of repetition that BB has with it's tasks got more repetitive in this. I will definitely give The Iron Oath another chance later since I'm almost certain some aspects, like the useless trading, will be fixed at some point. Also, many things in the game were pretty good, so maybe I picked the game up at a wrong time, I dunno. And every this sort of game that has a solid Ironman mode is good at it's core, right?
