The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures is the ninth installment of the Ace Attorney series of text adventure video games. New gameplay mechanics introduced to the series include Dance of Deduction, in which Ryunosuke must deduce mistakes and oversights in Herlock's overboard logic and uncover new facts, and Summation Examination, in which players must point out discrepancies among jurors' arguments to make their defendant’s case and ultimately secure a "Not Guilty" verdict.

Japan mixed with the west so of course it's great! Sadly at first it wasn't released in the west due to it being "too west bashing"

Marvelous story and another beautiful entry for the Ace Attorney collection. I loved the characters which made me feel more pain when some of them... well they were not there anymore.

GAA is very very good. Ryunousoke is a great protagonist to follow on his journey, and his growth makes the story so great.

An interesting departure from the usual Ace Attorney formula. With likeable and charismatic characters, great music, and a good mix of humour and genuine social commentary on the time period in which the game is set, The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures is an incredibly enjoyable game, but its status amongst the rest of the Ace Attorney series is hard to place. While utilising elements from Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and implementing features newer to the series such as text history allows Adventures to be a fresh take on the series formula, there's certain moments where the game falls short because of too much focus on its new mechanics.

In terms of gameplay, not as engaging as previous entries in the series due to lack of visual flair (e.g in breakdown animations) and excessive dialogue strings however, the setting, characters, and cases were extremely interesting and unique - the balance of trials and detective deductions was really refreshing! [Played using the Scarlet Study translation]
