Super Mario Sunshine is a Mario action-adventure 3D platformer. It follows Super Mario 64, and is the second 3D Mario platformer. Gameplay features a combination of action and puzzle solving, with numerous stages and multiple episodes to each stage, and plenty of hidden secrets and surprises. This game introduced many recurring characters and bosses in the Mario series, including Toadsworth, Bowser Jr., Petey Piranha, Gooper Blooper, Piantas, Nokis, Shadow Mario, and F.L.U.D.D. Super Mario Sunshine pays homage to Mario's Italian heritage and upbringing, with many of the locations in the game having Italian names and sometimes referencing Italian culture.

Lack of creative approaches to routing despite wonderful control gimmicks

replay (marathon); I've come to like this game more overtime, and despite loving the ideas behind it, in practice, it can feel massively underutilized and many times frustrating to play. Still better than 64 tho :P

No rating as this was. Not even close to a first playthrough lol We beat the Crowd Control SMS run!! I had a lot of fun being bullied by chat :3 Shoutout to everyone letting me skip an entire area and go to Bowser early hehe At some point, I may go back and 100% the game with CC... but I have no concrete plans to do that at the moment.

Super Mario Sunshine! This was quite the experience, ranging from very frustrating to quite rewarding in its gameplay, when coupled with the insane achievements. SMS definitely has a high skill ceiling, and a low skill floor when it comes to the parkour and FLUDD mechanics, making it a slow burn towards mastery of the game that becomes more and more enjoyable over time. However, some achievements tested the limits of the mechanics and weren't super enjoyable, but I would say they were outnumbered by achievements that pushed the mechanics in a positive way. All that being said, the game itself is pretty alright on its own. The 100% feels a bit pointless, especially when Blue Coins are a bit of a blemish on the game in my opinion, being overabundant and overly obscure. The stage variety also feels quite limited, and the individual episodes feel more linear compared to Mario 64. There is not much wrong with Sunshine, but it doesn't really get me itching to go back and play again, besides being able to soak in the great atmosphere of Delfino Plaza again, or maybe play a modded version of the game that might test the player's skill more.

O melhor jogo do Mário e com os melhores controles. O jogo é belissimo e tem uma atmosfera bem gostosinha do começo ao fim. E com o final bem comovente. Recomendo aos amantes de Mario Bros a jogarem esse titulo.

20h pour être gentil je pense mais en vrai je l'ai recommencer énormément de fois sans faire le 100% à savoir les pièce bleu car je trouve perso que ça ruine le plaisir de ce jeux il est en tout cas incroyable avec un petit aspect game and retry pour certain level vraiment banger :)
