Bom, depois de jogar Sonic Adventure 1, eu esperava uma melhora no segundo jogo, mas puta que pariu, que jogo bugado! Muitas vezes os personagens simplesmente atravessam as paredes e caem no void. O jogo apresenta duas campanhas: uma sobre os heróis e outra sobre os vilões. A gameplay das duas campanhas é praticamente a mesma, sendo Sonic com fases de corrida, Knuckles com fases de caça às Esmeraldas, Tails com fases de plataforma. As dos vilões são praticamente a mesma coisa, só mudando os personagens e algumas fases. O jogo apresenta uma boa história, mas os bugs estragam um pouco da experiência.

Uma clara evolução do primeiro Sonic Adventure, não só em gameplay, como também na história e em como ela é contada, a implementação do Shadow foi muito bem feita e tem uma progressão bacana, com a "Hero Side" introduzindo ele na trama, a "Dark Side" aprofundando mais nas suas origens e a "Last" encerrando com chave de ouro todo o seu desenvolvimento com um final épico e sensacional. O jogo ainda carrega algumas coisas que eram meio chatas do primeiro, como as fases do Knuckles que ficaram mais abertas e muitas vezes mais chatas de achar tudo, mas isso é compensado até que bem com as fases dos outros personagens e a reta final dele, onde senti que tinha pegado um pouco mais o jeito e me dei melhor com ele e com as fases da Rouge. No geral, é uma evolução de tudo o que veio do anterior, principalmente pela ideia da "Dark Side", que achei super bem implementada e até mais divertida que a "Hero Side", jogasso!

I had a fun time with this. I defiantly liked it more than the first SA game. I liked that the hub worlds were gone in this game, I did enjoy the fast paced but it was a little too quick for my liking. I thought the level designs were better even though for Knuckles and Rouge I would've liked if they scaled down the stages just a tad. I also would've liked it Shadow was more present. I would've liked more stages with Shadow especially since this is the game that got people into this character, I expected a lot more of him. The boss fights weren't that fun to me. Especially King Boom Boo, he was the most annoying. Of course, the soundtrack is amazing, no complaints there.

I don't care if it's nostalgia, I adore this game so much. I grew up with it and I still really love the gameplay, the visuals, the story is hit or miss and the soundtrack sLAPS. i love the characters, the biggest problem is the timing of the lines and some of the acting direction lol aside from that, i love this game.

Прошел до конца:❌ Ставлю такую высокую оценку (я бы даже сказал огромную для игры про Соника) за охуенную геймплейную фишку с выращиванием своих животинок, чтобы потом их заставлять плавать, бегать и ползать по стенам, у меня получился очень черный дьяволенок весело улыбающийся..

Only played about 90% of hero story but it was one of the worst games I've ever played. This is trash and I don't comprehend how someone can wake up and say "Sonic Adventures 2 is my favorite sonic game"

I think I can confidently say, my bias towards Sonic games aside, this is one of the best platformer games ever made. Various playstyles that all have a unique feel to them, lots of levels that are all replayable with different completion requirements to test your skills, an addicting time sink minigame* thing, fun multiplayer modes... The story is amazing, the music is an ear orgasm, visually impressive for its time and still very nice to look at to this day. *The minigame in question, the Chao Garden, needs its own section because it's so addicting and adorable, and surprisingly in-depth. Being tasked to raise and train weird child-like blobs may not seem like a lot of fun at first, but you get in there and you name them, you give them things you find while playing the main game, and you watch them slowly grow and change, and you get this sense of attachment and pride for your little guys. This game has flaws, but it's just so good you can forget them as the game sucks you in. 💛
