I quite enjoyed Simulacra 1, but the games after has been quite the meh feeling. I like the concept but it wasnt very immersive like the first one. Maybe there were more elements in the first simulacra but the story in this one quite missed the mark.

Perfect rating for a very good game! Did not know, that this kind of games was made in SE-Asia. Good even for blind playthrough - does not get too boring or frustrating. High replay value to cover all possible effects of choices.

Full Steam review:

Do game-series get better when the number gets higher? In this case: yes. Not as many actors as in Simulacra 2, this game is a worthy successor of the ones before. Work as the assistant of a journalist to find out more about what happened in the city of Stonecreek and about the origins of the trouble with the Simulacra. In addition to great dialogues, puzzles, cut-scenes and voice messages, this game also adds new ways to interact with other NPCs. Great work, Kaigan Games!

For the third entry in this franchise, the developers once again do something new while sticking to the origins of the simulacra as the evil spirit. I like that the whole ordeal is centered around a quiet little town with a rich history as Stonecreek. It sets up some cool horror vibes. Unfortunately for me I didn't like the Atlas app used to view the town. On the other hand, a highlight of this game is when you interact with the Vanguard app and view the evil spirit through the camera system, while you try to get your partner to safety. While I ended up getting a good ending, for me it fell flat and the story just sort of suddenly stopped.

The worst of the 3. Stick to the first 2 if you want some better scares and to solve puzzles that make you feel accomplished, rather than ashamed for not seeing the obvious sooner.

LOVED!!! They definitely went more into the horror side of things than the camp from Simulacra 2 but it was GREAT so I don't mind!

Also I was able to get the good ending first try without a guide, so I consider that an extra win since I wasn't able to do that for either of the first two games :D
