Rise of the Rōnin is a combat focused open-world action RPG that takes place in Japan at a time of great change. It is the very end of a 300-year long Edo Period, commonly known as “Bakumatsu”. Set in the late 19th century, Japan is facing the darkest of times as it struggles with its oppressive rulers and deadly diseases while western influence permeates as civil war continues to rage between the Tokugawa Shogunate and the Anti-Shogunate factions.

Rise foi um dos jogos que mais senti que foi demorado. Mas o foda é que o jogo é gostoso demais. Ouso dizer que realmente ele tá longe de ser melhor que os comparativos injustos que fazem com ele. Ghost of Tsushima e AC Shadows. Mas afirmo que talvez a gameplay dele seja a melhor dentre todos. Muito por conta das diversidades de armas somadas a diversidade de estilos de lutas com ela. Desbloquear a Gikei-Ryu pra Katana, foi incrível pra mim. Os perry são muito satisfatório. Graficamente ele é simples, ele usa o motor gráfico de Wolong que na época não era o mais bonito. Mas eu acho que serve pro jogo. Vai ter algumas cenas de tirar o folego mesmo com sua limitação História é um pouco chata. Tirando a trama da sua "Lamina Gêmea" o contexto de shogun é bem chato, envolve política de anti-shogunato e rebeldes que a priori são bem desinteressante. Eu indico esse jogo pela diversão, é o jogo de samurai mais divertido que joguei até então!

Eu tenho uma mania de fugir do óbvio. Se algo é, em grande maioria "amado" eu procuro algo novo para amar, pois acredito que adentro a obra sem expectativas, o que me permite saborear aquilo de maneira única. Rise of the Ronin é assim. É um jogo que quase ninguém lembra, pois só se falam dos ápice do gênero. Ghost of Tsushima aqui e AC Shadows pra lá. E digo, você perdem a chance de desfrutar algo bom, não perfeito, mas bom, diferente do que já se espera desses jogos que usam para despreciar. Experimente jogos novos, reclame menos. Nem tudo precisa e deve ser "perfeito", apreciar os erros é o que torna as experiências mais humanas. Convido a você, que leu isso, a jogar Rise of the Ronin!

Awesome game, I loved everything on it – just wished decisions would have had more influence in the ending cutscenes at least or some more possible interaction with some npcs, especially the romances

A bad copy of Ghost of Tsushima. Combat, garphics and story suck. Diversity of weapons and clothes are better. But it lacks the smoothness of sword playing in GoT.

Just went ahead and bought Rise Of the Ronin for PS5. I believe the creators of Nioh & Nioh 2 are the developers. It been a game on my watchlist for awhile. Can't wait to get home and play it. Might stream it tonight when I get off work.

The Open World for Team Ninja. While I enjoyed combat and the story i felt like I was forcing myself to cross the finish line. A lot of side missions.
